great matchup. intresting you mention the jem'hadar torpedoes. the fighter actually has an intresting design with 10 single shot launchers. so it can only use 8 in total. equally it could use all of them in a single volley...

From the seeing the Bug ships, in the show they looked small but all those windows and they use those 1 eye view screen thingies.. lol.. Don't forget what happened to the two Miranda classes the Sitak and the Majestic when the Defiant was fighting its way through the Dominion fleet to get to DS9 to try and stop the take down of the mind field. Those two got taken out pretty quickly. Yeah never underestimate a Jem'Hadar fighter. I do like this updated Miranda. Definitely seems more realistic.
I would have liked to serve in a Miranda class actually. It’s a fine good looking ship, humble but at the same time proud. That was before I watched this video.

Would you happen to have the Longbow class ship by chance? I saw a video of it not to long ago and it was an experiment ship that Starfleet supposed to of had after the Vger incident. It looked like a cross between a Miranda and a Connie class put together. A Connie with 2 sets of torpedoe launchers.
Would be interesting if this game had a way to spectate a battle between NPC ships. I feel like a lot of these battles are decided by which ship RBG is flying lol
That’s a fair point! Although we can work out which ship is better by how fast you can win with it. I do all of the battles from both sides. The Jem’Hadar was much quicker 🖖

Maybe cloak in a bird of prey, and let an allied and enemy version of each ship fight? It might not be as dynamic as a having an active player... but I feel like maybe it could settle some toss ups, or just be an interesting variation.
This says to me 2 things: (1) the AI is terrible and (2) the designers added torpedoes to the Jem'Hadar attack ships for, what, balance? 'cause polaron beams are it when it comes to the "bugs"
You would have ended these battles more quickly if you knew how to properly fly these ships. These ships do much better when relying on speed and maneuverability.
