Mirra has a steep learning curve at such a young age, all she needs is a lot of patients, which she seems to have and that alone is a huge asset. Aryna seems to have put her recent misfortune behind and she looks focused and settled. Two great players, respect for each other and no dramas. ❤❤

The discrepancy in power is just so much for Mirra to overcome. Aryna just teed off her short balls and won quite easily.

Andreeva looked so fast in her previous matches, here against Sabalenka she barely reaches the ball from side to side. Sabalenka's balls must be really fast. And that also means Coco Gauff, from what I recall from US Open final, is by far the fastest and best athlete on wta running from side to side on the baseline reaching everything Sabalenka threw at her.

Sabalenka vs Rybakina yet again is not the semi final we deserved but the one we needed. . .

aryna's screaming is unbearable it's even much worse than sharapova's screaming , it can cause severe headache and hearing problems , the WTA must act asap and do something about aryna's screaming

The grunts from Saba linger almost to when Mirra is hitting the ball... borderline hindrance.

Sabalenka just showed the limitations of Andreeva. Talented though she is, she doesn't really have any heavy fire power and here she was totally outgunned.

When Mirra finds a solution for those angle, corner and side to side hits she will be a better defender.

If it was before Collins, Mirra would stand a chance, Sabalenka was awful, Collins involuntarily heat her up and then she gets the consistency back.

Mirra can be very proud of herself, and she doesn't scream so much which is a plus 🤣😄

I say the same thing I have said before... when the screaming goes on until your opponent is hitting the ball, that is out of control and unacceptable....

Andreeva's game isn't a good match-up for Sabalenka. With the solid and consistent way Andreeva plays, her Achilles Heel is a player who can hit through her and expose her lack of firepower. At the moment, Sabalenka is the best in the business at that.

Andreeva is such an upcoming star with high tennis IQ but she was outfoxed by the more experienced Sabalenka. I really enjoyed the spirited fight she put on. Her tennis skills are quite impressive!

If Andreeva would play her game , never hit the ball back to sabalenka, place the ball , as far from the opponent. She may get the picture of what she didn't do , watching the match herself. Always play aggressive, own the court , become a winner

I predicted Andreeva would win 5 games in the match a few days ago - got it exactly right.

There is nothing to do for Andreeva. It is the lucid level of Mira Andreeva against Sabalenka. Even so, she has forced her capacity on the court in order to annoy Belarusian tennis competitor at some points but I believe that she will be more tenacious and foolproof in the following periods. She is currently in the expansion stage. It will plainly contribute to the advancement of her performance and efficiency.

The experience saved Saba. Or lack of thereof of Mirra. Mirra will be number 1 since day if she avoids injury.

At the end Sabalenka was insensitive, she should have said something nice to cheer the young girl up, like" Good match, dont worry, you'll be great...." she is just a kid, instead of that cold handshake, but that doesnt surprise me, Russian people seem very smart, funny and sweet, the truth is they are authoritative and cold, all have mental breakdowns, is not a coincidence that Medvedev, Rublev, Bublik, Putintseva, Sabalenka, all of them often insult umpires and smash rackets like crisps, even the quiter ones like Kasatkina and Rybakina believe me hold hot temper...

Sabalenka should be expelled from the tour for her views (or rather absence of views on the war in Ukraine) and being a coward not willing to speak up against the war. There should be consequences. She can play in Belarus and Russia (possibly China) but not elsewhere.
