Your music reminds me of how I felt in the early stages of my recovery, on an unpleasant rollercoaster ride which lasted for a good while. But it's not the same for everyone. My dad tried to recover from alcoholism and failed miserably only to live in misery and bring those around him misery. My older brother went into recovery for heroin addiction and he came to know Jesus. His life was 180 degrees different from the life he once lived all because of the grace of God. Like I said, my story was a rollercoaster ride struggling for many years but God is faithful even when I'm not. He never left me nor forsook me. So everyone is different and some have an easier time getting through life than others, or at least that's how it appears on the surface.
@@ChumbiShema I can say my dad did finally come to the Lord at the final few years of his life when my mom needed him the most. But we all need reminded at times that God is much bigger than any trials we are going through and he is always there just waiting for us to acknowledge him in all our ways and he will direct our steps.
Listening to the lyrics of all the original songs you've written, it's just mind-boggling how talented you are! I don't know how you are able to write several articulate, heart-felt songs each and every day, but it must be a gift you received from God. You are truly amazing! BTW, really like how smooth your chord changes are flowing. They sound great!
"I'm not where I'm meant to be" is a layered line in this context- woah, heavy These are difficult times and you're doing great so far. You'll find yourself in there again- she might just be hiding now and then, but she's there, I'm sure of it. Sorry for the struggle but thankful for your strength.
