What i love about this album as what you’ve said it’s very cohesive and that makes it enjoyable to listen. What surprises me the most in this project is that MISAMO successfully showcased their vocal abilities that we can’t hear much on the group, we got more rapper momo, their batman vocals, their harmonization as a unit singing their native language. This project is more on the vocal flex. Also the fact that the girls participated in writing the lyrics too “Funny Valentine” wrote by MOMO “It’s not easy for you” wrote by MINA “Rewind You” wrote by SANA my top 3 *tittle track not included (Marshmallow, Rewind You, Funny Valentine)
This album was very mature and allowed for the girls to show their voices in a fun and cool way 🥹 I’m so happy with your reaction it made me smile and enjoy the album! My top three are 1. Rewind You 2. Do Not Touch 3. Funny Valentine

Performance wise : 1) Behind The Curtains/ Do Not Touch/ Funny Valentine (amazing concept) 2) It's Not Easy For You (would be cool with something impactful to make up to the kinda stagnant dark vibes throughout) 3) Marshmallow/ Bouquet/ Rewind You (fun times & beautifully decorated stage, vocal showcase)
They performed all the songs during their debut showcase in Japan... When i tell you we barely survived even by watching through shaky fancams, it was truly hell ESPECIALLY BECAUSE OF MINA
I LOVEEE the concept of this albummm.. Urghhhhh Although there are so many other genres that I wanted misamo to explore, I think it's fine considering the concept that they were going for.. Hoping they comeback as a subunit again so we can see more of other genres they can do. Again love your reactionssss as well
To me this album is reminiscent of Twice's earlier work. It was very experimental and helped them develop their sound as time passed. MiSaMo is off to a great start and I expect some amazing things to come in the future.
My top three in order: do not touch (this one blows me away for good, i've replayed it a lot), then marshmallow (walk rest running), then funny valentine (momo voice in intro got me entranced)
rewind you is def my fave song out of all b sides! also i cant help but feel like funny valentine reminds me of gidle's villain dies haha prob its the vibe that it gives
One thing I notice after watching your reactions and being a fan of Sana is that both you and Sana has almost the same taste in music. Watching your reaction to rewind you just confirms my thoughts cus rewind you’s lyrics is written by Sana and they chose themselves which song they want to write the lyrics to after hearing the melody. I loved this album bc it is definitely the most cohesive sounding album in a twice related project… which is interesting considering how much variety twice tries to add in their albums and also it’s nice to listen to just the 3 of them I think they knew how to show their vocals My top 3 are: 1.Rewind you 2. I think we need to remove our kpop glasses for this one, it definitely sounds more "japanese." Really complex song structures, that go in every direction, almost a bit more City Pop than Kpop, especially for Funny Valentine and It's Not Easy For You. Rewind You is def my fave of the Bsides.
@@fifizappareacts I mean it in the way that both songs meander from different genres and tempos. I feel like city pop song structures are always complex and sometime give the impression that 3-4 different songs have been squished into one. I get the same feeling here, there are parts of Funny Valentine and It's Not Easy that I really like, but the songs as wholes feel a bit disjointed. Great city pop songs are enhanced by this complexity, but for me, here, it's not fully realised... and I don't consider myself a city pop expert by any means, so I may be off the mark, but that's the comparison that sprung to my mind.
Masterpiece was such a good listen, but if you watch the misamo showcase where they performed the b-sides. the songs gets even better cause you associate it with their live stages, and just like all of Twice, MISAMO does not play around on live stages. it was sooo amazing.
Rewind You was my fave too. Sana's chorus is so so good. The only song I didn't really like was Behind the Curtain, I get the concept but not for me lol.
