As someone who, in any mmo'esq game that I've ever played, always had a big focus on crafting/trade/industrial systems. The hull series of ships were always something that I loved, the entire concept of them just makes me smile. They're no flashy fancy fighter or luxury ship sure, but they're just right for me. While I enjoy combat, my heart is always in the economical side of games, and it's no different here. I absolutely love the idea of traveling hours/days across the galaxy bringing goods back and forth from the various "people(aliens too)/cultures" throughout the verse. What a dream for me... space trucker, space miner/scrapper/service, explorer, totally my vibes and it only gets even more exciting to me being able to do it with other rad people in the larger ships. Thanks for the video, love the content... also youtube why do I keep getting randomly unsubscribed from channels I clearly know I was subbed too, do better thanks haha.
They did a good job with the A and I'm sure B thru E will be a regular fixture in the future. The attention to detail is phenomenal. Glad they put the effort in as I'm sure we will see a lot of them from here out...
Very nice review RedLir. I am enjoying your video reviews. I am a holder of some larger Hull variants and look forward to their release. Certainly look forward to the crago refactor implementation and how it will be implemented for loading and unloading of goods. Keep up the great work!
Great video once again. I really love how CIG has stepped up their ship designs. A lot more attention to detail, such as the airlock area and the living area being separate. I cant wait to blow this ship out of the sky
I think the Hull A is a great cargo hauling starter ship, but the Hull C really does look like the sweet spot in the Hull range. I'd like to see some ship review videos that compare variants, like maybe a video for the 600i Explorer and Touring, especially since they'll be updated soon, so might as well get a review in that shows the differences of the current generation of the 600i models, and then do a follow-up comparison review after the gold standard pass. Another cool ship review format would be to invite 2 friends to do a 3-ship review in kind of a Top Gear or Grand Tour style where you and your buds test the ships against each other in various trials, and have some comedic misadventures along the way.
Some good ideas here, thanks! I can't wait for the 600i update.. I'm not so secretly wondering if they'll do something special for the interior of the Executive!
It's too slow when empty, i think this kind of ships should have different speed and maneuverability when extended and half or full loaded. A small ship like the hull a, closed, with that kind of engine should be faster and more nimble.
So I got a question. Not sure if it's ben answered but, are there still civilian land vehicles? As in cars, trucks, vans, ect? And if so I'm guessing they will be much cheaper (but still a pretty penny) than a regular ship. Then last question, if there is cars, are we going to be trading them? Like in a hull c? I think that would be cool if so. Anyway keep up the amazing vids dude
There are definitely vehicles. Most of them are combat oriented currently but there are things like buggies and even racers etc as well as rovers. No doubts CIG will expand on land vehciles when we get things like roads etc. They didn't specify transporting land vehicles but in the original Q and A for the hull series they did mention ships being able to be disassembled and transported by the Hull Series. Like anything in SC though, take it with a grain of salt until it's actually in front of us and in the game! Cheers!
