Thank you for talking about this really important issue - I agree that the medical profession has a long way to go in recognising/treating chronic pain. You've only to look at the animal kingdom to realise how stoic sentient beings are in the face of pain .... maybe doctors should spend some time working with vets, in order to understand pain in people?! The thing that my family dont understand is that my pain moves constantly. I can go too sleep with pain in my upper body and when I wake up it's in my lower body. Its never in the same place twice. Its different every single day.

I have more than 1 chronic illness. I have fibromyalgia, polycystic ovary syndrome and cluster/migraine headaches. I had to cancel hair and nail appointments recently. Its soul destroying.
