@@vancedadder He really did just have conversations with them. The ripping up the card at the start of a lot of the interviews was sort of a bit, im sure he did read stuff like "new movie XYZ, lives in suchandsuch, won award last year for thisandthat" but the actual talks he had was definitely just conversations. He would of course touch on if they had a new movie to promote, but you can tell in other late night shows the host usually sets the guest up for some story they can tell, Craig didnt really do that. He just talked and had fun. Its 100% worth it to go back and watch some of his old shows. Especially anytime he had a guest on that was a personal friend of his, like Betty White. He was on a very short lived sitcom with Betty in the 90's that started a friendship with them. Betty was on his show like 20 times and i think would sometimes be the guest they would call on short notice to come in if someone dropped out since she was always a riot when on.

I love the Sarah Paulson "interviews" with Craig, one of the best guests of the show

As she stroked his hand, I guess she suddenly realized his hands were soft or something, and wondered if he applied moisturizer cream to his hands to get them to be so soft, which is why she asked, "Do you cream?" Unfortunately for her, 'creaming' is also slang for ejaculating, which she realized pretty much immediately from the look on Craig's face and the laughs from the audience.

Craig is one of my Favs too. Great guy. He changed interviews for the better. And for the low self esteem part, I get it, but people that have a higher self esteem like he does, it's easier for them to make fun of them selves. Shy people tend too worry way too much and don't let go of a fuss that they catch on too. Then they feel judged by others quickly. Craig is an extrovert Genuine man. Ralphy May comedian also made fun of himself all the time, Genuine guy. Peace, Stay Well.

Chris Ducat makes me sad at the gap between the two. James' best moments are the scripted bits they do, which is such a step down for s talk show.

James is 100% on script, Craig was 95% off script and it showed, all his interviews are much more a conversation than a news segment and I miss it so damn much.

James is unwatchable. I think he has talent as a performer, but he's very Jimmy Fallon-esque

Craig appears to be so real without a false bone in his body, a lot of the new hosts are so false.

@@SGTBizarro So true. First time I watched Craig Ferguson, I was hooked, I even recommended him to others who were getting tired of old interview acts. Funny thing is, this is just me but, he even kept up with Robin Williams in conversation, those 2 were nonstop, if that's what you liked. Craig is great with any sit down talk.
