My wife and I first went to Puerto Vallarta four years ago and stayed at Barceló in Mismaloya. Since we already had our meals included, we didn't eat at the restaurant but we did get massages there next to it and they were wonderful. Attached is a photo I took of the beach. We also love Mr. Tequila and Tony's Hideaway which are less than a 10 minute walk from the beach. We also enjoyed El Eden which is a 20-minute cab ride up the mountain where they filmed the original Predator movie.
I love your channel!! I went to PV in August and completely fell in love. I can't wait to go back and visit some of your recommended places!! Also, I'd love to see more of Martin and see him speak spanish on your channel!
We have taken the bus to Mismaloya many times. The tequila factory is fun, they have a great zoo and Tony's Restaurant is really good. Wander thru town next trip-you will enjoy it. The beach is really fun too. Our friend Ramone served us the most delicious coconut shrimp and fried red snapper in all of Mexico. My negative comment would be the beach has the worst bathroom in all of Mexico.
If you go back too mismaloya the dinner at Tony's is fun good and cheap. It's on the other side of the street there is a little.town very old school. We take a cab as its up the hill in this little town. But after dinner we walk back to the the bus stop to get a taxi. We take a bag of hard candy to give to the kids and any loose change we have.
Plus they have a cake lady she makes great cake. And sometimes if you catch the 1st bus going to town in the morning there is a fisherman with a bucket of fish. You can buy fresh fish from his bucket.
As of this week, the Mexican Congress voted to enforce consideranly large fines to hotels who restrict access to public beaches, which is legally considered federal land...i.e., Barcelo can no longer restrict access to 50% of the beach in Mismaloya without paying 💰💰💰 in penalties. Hopefully the right people see this video... #puertovallarta #jalisco #mexico
