Yeah, it's more like her friendship is mismatched, rather than her clothing, which none of it is... Makes me wonder if the title is actually named after the character's "friend."

Person just fell asleep and now their friendship is fake ... Do you really understand, what friendship is? I dunno, maybe accepting that all of us can make mistakes?

@@The_wr1ter One of the challenges of short film is conveying plenty of information in a few minutes. The viewer is shown a slice of the protagonist's life, from which we can extrapolate what the rest of her life is like. To put it another way, let's see this girl fall asleep when she has a work function, or a dinner reservation to meet her fiancé's parents. She won't, because she regards them as important. The friendship isn't necessarily "fake" - but the investment they each put in is, as the title reveals, mismatched. It happens to everyone at some point, and I think the film told this often untold story quite beautifully.

@@kingkooki7761 In my opinion it is Not only sad, but very sad and even deppressing. Thats not only "pet peeve". It's about how, especially our, generation fews people: like objekts. Switching, using and discarding people and their so called "Friends" like (old) clothes. Sad generation. Complains about all the bullshit they recive, but beeing assholes themselves. Yes forgetting to answer or chanceling last minute can happen. Put it's becoming the norm nowadays. You don't even have to make a call. Just a little "sorry can't make it" and thats it. The same with birthdays or holiday greetings. There are even internet sides we're you can copy replies, greetings or you just send a picture. Preferably some you got from another "friend", so you can spare you the time and effort to look for it yourself. Ah! And don't forget the copyfunktion, so you can send it to all your whats app contacts at once. Why put yourself through all the effort and work and write for everyone a special unique text, if you can spend your time actually for usefull things, like yourself and your our own happyness? Cause making other people happy can't probably make you happy as well. Yes thats right. And whys that? Because other people are thinking THE SAME BULLSHIT WAY LIKE YOU and don't apreciate your efforts. You recive bullshit and you give bullshit in return. And than you complain about it. Thats our generation. What a sad, sad thing.

Not to mention you feel embarrassed bc you're putting in all this effort and it makes you feel like you're a loser for caring so much when they don't

@@Anonymous-wi6ig exactly. But I also have to mention this: Always keep in mind your friends feelings and don't do things they might be uncomfortable with. Like holding their birthday party at a strip club, buying an animal without permission, or a making a brithday cake with lots of calories when they are trying to lose weight etc. Not every person is the same. And just because you like something, doesn't mean your friend likes it to. It's always a matter of the situation and time, what your friend values, what they want/need and what not and what charakter they have. You can't expect them to be happy about everything you do or buy them, especially not, if you hurt your friend feelings on the way. And IF you indeed did hurt your friend feelings APOLLOGIZE. And don't put the blame on your friend. It's basically the same as if you say "If you don't do this or make that, you aren't our friend anymore". And thats not friendship. Thats using someone.

I too find it quite upsetting! I’ve had plenty of times where I’ve actually had the courage to go out with friends and they forget to tell me they’ve cancelled 😭 happens to the best of us I guess
