Of course it isn't fair to Miss Colombia either, but making them share the crown would make this whole situation a lot more unfair than it already is. That was a very embarrassing moment on live worldwide TV. I guarantee you though, Colombia will be the most remembered 1st runner up of any pageant, and Philippines will be the most remembered winner because of this "mistake." The other 3 judges took note of this character flaw in her and all unanimously voted for ms.Philippines as the next ms.universe. Honestly, I was more shocked that Colombia won than Harvey admitting he made a mistake. When he wrongfully announced Colombia as the winner, I thought Philippines got robbed big time. When he admitted he made a mistake, I wasn't shocked at all. I was happy for Philippines!
Why the hell would they share a crown!!!??? Just because they mistakenly read the wrong name doesn't mean they get to automatically get to share that makes no sense!!!!

SHARING THE CROWN? Just because the host made a mistake doesn’t mean you can name it as an excuse to get the crown. Even if he didn’t screw up, you would still be the first runner up. It was only announced wrong by the host which he, right away, admitted an honest mistake in his part. Pia is did not robbed or snatched the crown from Ariadna because the real result has been tabulated officially. Even you go to the supreme court and make an appeal or defend your side, surely you will never win because there's a vivid basis and evidence if who's the true winner and the runners up. Why don't you blame the judges for the unanimous vote they've given to Miss Philippines to win, and blame Steve Harvey for announcing the wrong result? So that your being paranoid over this issue will be over. This is just Miss Universe and not World War III or End of the world issue. People who doesn't know how to accept the fact is very annoying. Move on and live your life to the fullest. Life is beautiful to get affected with other people's issue.
I'm 5 years late, but need to speak up. This incident was truly a mess. But queens don't share crowns. It was said that miss Colombia has worked her entire life for this, but that's precisely the reason of her arrogance. She's not the only one who works hard, there would be always someone who works harder than you, suffers more than you, and better than you in life. I get that she felt wronged, but a true queen should handle problems with grace and calmness, if not, then people would know your weakness, and that's exactly what happened to her.

If Miss Columbia had took the situation in a more positive way, exit gracefully, not being selfish of pitying herself, everyone would have seen her good moral model of what a true beauty queen is. It takes a great character for someone who would come up to the real winner and hug her like sisters would do. imagine what if Pia was in her shoes and was the contestant announced wrongly as Ms. Universe. i don't even think she would say "we should share the crown." its all a matter of character and poise becausr afterall that's what a true Ms. Universe needs
