@@toib.7143 that’s is the weirdest damn thing I have ever read in my life, we are indigenous and have been for a long time, now if you are talking about primitive or savage then yes I agree but Jesus get your terms right Definition In•dig•e•nous /In’dijenes/ Adjective Originating or occurring naturally in a particular place; Native
We must respect the indigenous peoples of Turtle Island (America); who roamed freely for thousands of years, before the foreigners to these shores arrived. "This land is 'their' land."
@@WildWestRaider Many Native Americans prefer the term Indian because anyone born on this soil is technically a “native American,” whereas Indian identifies them specifically.
Much love and respect to this nation. I am indian. My heritage is from india and am very proud of my ppl. Its so sad that they lost so much of their heritage and all they have are memories.
'CAUSE THE SO CALLED WHITE CHRISTIANS DECIMATED THE TRUE PEOPLES OF THESE LANDS, AND OTHER NON WHITE LANDS.! AND, HAVE THE AUDACITY TO TELL OTHERS TO "GO BACK WHERE YOU CAME FROM!" WHEN, IT SHOULD BE THE OTHER WAY!!!!
Beautiful, breathtaking, awe-inspiring, thought provoking...... I can't seem to find the words. So very, very much respect! Would love to submerse myself in all Native American culture because I'm so fascinated and love it so much. But not being Native by much, I feel as though I would be intruding and they have been intruded upon more than enough. Thank you for that wonderful dance, though.
I think i might have been indian in a previous life, because everytime i see something about indians my heart melts i just love everything about the true Americans that are the indians!
@@123456wasp I’m half, and it is not considered an insult. Many prefer Indian to Native American because it identifies them specifically, whereas anyone born on this soil is technically native.
The true chosen people of the spirit world this is coming from an afro-centric woman me, i miss miss my sis who is half afro and half indigenous her mom the best cook ever. Thanks for sharing this beautiful ceremonious dance i truly miss this culture.
Describing yourself as afro centric makes no sense and is insulting and disrespectful. Have you the faintest idea how many countries, languages, religions, cultures, tribes and races are here? And as an example, compare Egypt or Libya to Nigeria or Democratic Republic of Congo
@@rock07879 I think you have the wrong comment. The true sense of spirituality is indigenous people, who are the 1st people to travel this world. I have no idea why you read my identification of self as afro-centric as insulting and disrespectful. What do you mean by "here". What country are you from? No one is unaware of various races, languages, etc am very much aware of many countries' languages, etc.
Look at how graceful their dance is their music is very soothing I am native American I don't have enough to claim it with the number and all that but that don't mean that I'm not native thank you for sharing your videos with others that were raised by white man upbringing

My only experience with indigenous people was in Banff. I'm a large Scot on holiday and get approached by a guy in a shop. He said "hey, big man, I wanna fight you" he held his hands in a boxing stance " boom boom you're going down".I looked around for help as I had only landed in Calgary a few hours before. I pushed past to get away and was met by a group of about 12 all at the door drunk, drinking from brown paper bags. I was shocked and disappointed.
Seeing this ! I have a feeling to want to cry ! They are the original master of America land , and now they can only memory their tribe by these dancing ! They are the tribe who been genocide and robbed of their land , massively killed and drove to extinction ! their number shrunken from several million to nearly one percent of the population ! Who did that ? every body knows !
My family is Ojibwa, Fond du Lac ... my great grandfather was taken late 1890s and came to Utah with a Mormon family. So our bloodline has dwindled. My father is still a tribal member, but my sister and I are one generation removed. But my heart is not.
Just Asking ... The Horse Nation were an unforseen bonus, an unintended gift from Spanish Conquistadors, Explorers & European Colonists, through wars, attacks & the horse's ability to escape & survive when let loose on a pristine lush landscape after months aboard ship stalls ... Or, what do you tell yourselves as to their appearance in your lives?
