This song transports me to a time when things were simple. Rave nights, boozy days, big dreams. The world was so easy to maneuver in. I'd like to time travel back. Who's with me?
Jane was a woman from Hulme who wrote a poem about her local area, back in 1983. Her poem was remixed several times, by Opus et al. The voice we hear is not Jane but Kirsty Hawkshaw, goddess of all trance vocals. Go listen to the original poem.
Ahh, the nostalgia. I remember when i was 12 years old, midnight, lightning storm, waiting for this song to come on the radio, record button ready on my cassette player. This was and still is pure bliss. Best times of my life.
I have uploaded this song nearly 10 years ago, sadly in one of my worst moments of my childhood. Now I am 30 and coming back here :). Unfortunately I haven't got access to Adr972 account anymore. Enjoy people and wish you fine day today, tomorrow and in every following day. Regards from Poland.
in the year 2000, i got my first apartment with my girlfriend, it was THE house for sure lol, she introduced me to this type of music, she is no longer with us, passed 1 year ago, but this music lives on and bring me back to the good ROLL days , thank you for this
@@AquarianAngel I like your comment, I think the nostalgic feeling from the music might also be one of the reasons. All the beautiful memories you remember when listening to the music you used to listen when you were younger, and all the things you did back then and don't do anymore nowadays :)
I heard this when i was little kid and my dad took me to a computer discount dump event. I was like 10 years old. My english was not good enough to understand but the beat and voice never left my mind. Me too, had to wait for about 10 years to hear this song again.
Same here bro. I remember my older cousins getting ready to go out to club with this music on very loud, I was always jelaous I can't dance in club to this song when I am allowed to go out :( music sucks now...
I just turned 101 and now reliving my carefree 70s with this nostalgic blast from the pre covid, pre 9/11 past, oh how I loved to candyflip with my homies
*One day I'll be a 60-year-old man, sitting on my porch with KRK RoKit speakers and listen to this track as 20 years olds gonna pass my house and think this is some old crazy dude, but they will never understand!* 😎
"It's a fine day" >remembers trance song >plays song >>>> I'm exploding in emotion right now. this makes me remember how FUCKING GOOD TRANCE really is.
Nothing like cruising to a rave and this song comes on at the pre-party in the car with the windows open and the breeze is the only thing you can feel on your face
I was a baby when this kind of music was big, so as you might guess I wasn't an active part of the classic trance community lol. I'm in my early 20s and since one year my life, just as of every other person, is dominated by the pandemic, lockdowns, sitting at home and since last week also a nightly curfew (oh and a few romantic rejections, but that's not unique to the pandemic period :D). I recently got into 90s/early 2000s trance, discovered its' emotional appeal and even though life is a mess right now, tracks like this one are giving me hope that the future will be better than the present. Hopefully someone of you will discover this comment in a time when everything is back to normal. Stay healthy, friends.
This evil political based agenda will End don’t worry I’m 33 and when you mentioned you’re in your early 20’s and basically Stuck in these lock down scenarios instead of being out and about experiencing and discovering yourself And meeting new people in the music festival/clubbing scene made me feel kind of down for your age groups… Sorry don’t mean to remind you of this shit situation but I promise brighter and much more exciting days are ahead keep your head up kid!!! Stay positive and remember you woke up today and are blessed
@@unkndude Like a few weeks after I wrote the comment most covid measures got dropped and holy shit the summer that followed was fucking wild! Hopefully this year will be the same, but this time the covid measures will be gone forever! Hopefully your time will be as good!
I used to play this song among others, while playing world of warcraft back in 2005. I still remember running through the forest with my nightelf hunter doing random quests.
Look how many people this song brought together. Nostalgia like a sledgehammer. But a good reminder that the past was real. A good reminder that we're not alone. I like to think the music connects us.
Shit we did it big in Dallas Tx with this song.....had the tabs, g, and k flowing properly in all the underground clubs that didn’t open till 4am!!! We lived a life that no one knew about and made it out of that scene too....alive!!!
Jeremy Pace We did the same thing in Charlotte NC, I often wondered if anybody really knew what went on in the wee hours of the morning in these underground clubs.
heard this song back then '99 2000 never thought atb was involved on this song that explains same vibe tone as 'til i come....thanks never knew the name of the song😎👍
