Kobayashi's reaction to first seeing a giant dragon outside her home is still one of my favourite gags in this whole series

I like to think that when Tohru calls Fafnir the second time he's not responding to a new question, but rather still in the middle of his rant from the first phone call.

Tohru: I don't mean that way! I mean sexually! Kobayashi: I'm a woman, though? *and that's the fkn point*

I've watched this at least 6 times, but I'll happily watch it again.

I never expected it, but this series is now a modern classic. It just does everything right, and has infinite replay value.

Only Japan could come up with a story about an drunk workaholic and a lesbian dragon

I'm listening to this for the 154457th time, and man, Tohru was so well cast and directed. When she said "OK, thanks anyway, and sorry for bothering you," that hits right in the feels.

God I love this anime so much. It’s the perfect blend of lighthearted comedy and heartwarming moments. It’s like a warm hug.

I just started watching this anime and I can tell this is gonna be one of those animes I’ll rewatch over and over again and never get bored just like with the disastrous life of Saiki K

I love how lay back this anime is, it really calm my nerves in covid-19 times and drive me through simple times where everyone priorities was only to eat, sleep and enjoy life.

I have rewatched this anime sooo many times and I enjoy it every time. It still gives me this soft cosy sensation within just as it did during my first viewing. And I will never get over the cuteness of Kanna-chan!!

This has quickly become one of my favorite anime. I love the art style, the characters are all memorable, the animation is solid, it's very funny and it's really cute too. I literally *never* tire of rewatching it over and over. It's a masterpiece.

RIP Yasuhiro Takemoto, he definitely directed some of the most funny series I’ve ever seen

About two weeks ago my friend showed me this and now it’s actually one of my favorite shows of all time. Which is pretty funny cause I’m not really a fan of anime. This show really struck an emotional cord with in a time I needed it and that’s something that rarely happens and I have to commend the writers and directors greatly (especially episodes 12-14). And every single character is memorable and lovable; from Tohru to Takiya there are funny, enjoyable, and a hell of a great time to see what shenanigans they’ll get into next. Plus the humor is astounding. Sure there are a few misses, but all the slapstick, running gags, and post irony type of jokes are all great fun and a common place that are done right. Well I’ll stop rambling now. If you can’t tell this show is a 10/10. A must see in my opinion.

Listen guys I dont know if you know this but there was a arson attack at the animation studio that creates dragon maid so season 2 is not coming out anytime soon not in early 2020 anyways, but stay strong bois and gals let's hope they didn't lose too much but in the meantime keep the people that were lost in the fire in your prayers and season 2 will come either mid-late 2020 or early 2021.
