I appreciated that Natalie's character had so many facets. She is confident in herself (she doesn't hesitate to work with Michael), she doesn't get down when people don't agree with her interests (when Michael mocks her photos), and despite being a kind person she still views the world with a hint of skepticism (she hesitates to donate money to the man in the cafe). It was refreshing to see all of these things bc in real life there is so much more to an individual's personality than the smiling, kind, nice girl that many of these types of shorts portray. There is nothing wrong with those qualities , lol, it's just nice to see more layers underneath this time. Good job

This is true, but if you can find the right people, hobbies that you enjoy, and you have a good personality, you could be MUCH happier than someone who was born super pretty. The girl who was called the 'prettiest' in my class was actually one of the most unhappy, and she would starve herself and study non stop so that she could be everyone's idea of 'perfect', when on the inside she was FAR from it. If you find real, honest friends that you get along well with, that is better than being 'pretty' or 'handsome' :)

For those who are asking why Michael was not wearing shoes in Nat's house... It's a sort of customary practice in Malaysia which most of the people follow... that is... they open the shoes outside before entering the house...like there is a rack kept aside near the main entrance where the leave their shoes and step inside.. this custom is also seen in countries like India...Sri Lanka... Thailand... Nepal...Bhutan... Korea and other Asian countries...

This was awesome. It had been popping up on my screen but I didn't have the time to watch it. Now after watching this, i cannot believe how fast the 18 min passed. This was so beautiful and heartfelt. Natalia was so cute and goofy that its hard not to love her. Michael's father was hilarious. Over all, it was a must watch🌻
