Yes I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU!!! i really love Miss Philipppines, but i don't know i can see elegance to Miss Spain effortless. Grrrr ... Nothing personal about her, but she nailed the swimsuit and evening gown!
Spain's sensuality is insanely well timed and still unbeatable. I have seen other contestants aiming to do the same but they all seemed over rehearsed or over the top. She was just spot on and should have won.

That year was an exception year.....my country USA did not make the top 10!! Booooooo oh well! Props to Philippines.....she had the most simple gown but yet it was elegant and she carried it so well. I love her gown and Miss Colombia 1994, two of the most memorable gowns in Miss Universe in my opinion! By the way Miss Venezuela here remains me and sorta looks like Miss Colombia 2016. Both gorgeous!

These was one of the best top 10 selections as they show gorgeous women from around the world. Unfortunately, India and South Africa dresses were not up there. I think the best looking woman was Spain but the language barrier and poor translation do not work. Miss Venezuela was so young an beautiful; I did not see the need to wear such huge dress that covered her beautiful figure. Botswana looked like a Barbie doll and she seemed to have had fun. Puerto Rico was impressive but her dress was a boring choice. I believe fashion is related to the country. I love Jamaica and Guana's sensuality. They were all gorgeous!
Philippines and Spain were neck to neck from swimsuit to evening gown segments, South Africa faded in the evening gown portion India lost her aura in that swimsuit category...Botswana just surprised them in the q and a round...

That gown cost Venezuela her spot in the Final 3. Philippines and Spain slayed this round but during this same round, they also started to feel the pressure as the pair to beat and faltered in the final Q&A. Botswana played loose the entire competition and caught them off guard during Q&A.

It was the girls too though. Aside from Puerto Rico and Botswana they didn't look at the guys let alone interact with them or let them get their arm where it goes.
I know that I'm in the minority, but I liked Ghana's gown! I thought that it was beautiful and she looked elegant. I also think that India's gown is beautiful! She should have made top 5.
I guess phillipines should win all pageants in history and future. Why not have only phillipino ladies in the competition. Or have your own miss universe.
Spain and Philippines gowns have the unique cut that time thats why they have the highest scores, Mexico's gown looks so simple but sparkling you can see the elegance, venezuelas gown looks conservative,very conservative with that long sleeves, South Africas gown kind a sabotaged by her designer, she faded in that segment...Puerto Ricos gown had the best color but the design and cut was too common,its a patty pageant designed gown....I believed Mexico should have a higher score than Venezuela and Botswana,she was underrated...
botswana es una negra con bastante chispa... no era la mas bonita pero su respuesta en el top3 fue la mejor y gano... españa era mi gran favorita, iba punteando fuerte siempre pero en la final se cayo horrible... lastima...

no puedo creer que a la de Botswana le dieran mas de 9 por su vestido, parecía quinceañera de pueblo, la de Venezuela estaba impactante y su vestido se veía muy pesado hizo mucho la pobre con lo que le dieron, la de Mexico parece Hermana de Ximena.
Para nadie es un secreto que al Osmel no le gustan las negras, por eso la mando con esa cochinada de vestido y lo más triste es que es una de las candidatas más impresionantes que han mandado al miss universo y él va y la desperdicia
