Even Filipino fashion designers. A lot of them designed the gowns & national costumes of the recent miss universe contestants. Truly proud to be a Filipino!

She was one of the candidates who definitely caught my attention during prelims! I really enjoyed her performance! I really love how she handled the cape thing during SS, I hate the cape but she made it work! Kudos to her and her trainer! She's one of my top 16, i was sad she didn't make it but still you are one of my sentimental fave. Lots of love from 🇵🇭
No wonder there are now many pageant candidates with beautiful pasarelas! They're trained by Filipinos now. Love this Malta pasarela! Hope next Philippine beauty candidates may ganitong mga twists and turns like this one and that of Catriona, not just "plain" walk. Dapat may drama! Sam Bernardo's pasarela during her MGI competition was the best at that time especially the swimsuit prelims. Philippines should be the trailblazer when it comes to pasarelas! 👍💜

Most women of the world come in every size and shape..not always the model type. Pageants should consider different shapes and fit for their winners.. for we are all born different. I bet she is fit and not at all bulky.
When I was a little kid in Manila(I'm half Filipina), there would be yearly competition for Ms.Gay Universe in our subdivision and I would be present with my friends. The gays seemed to be more sassy and fierce like daymmm they owned it! A lot of gays in the Philippines are also very nice and responsible, some even being beaten by parents for being gay...but still work hard for them. Actually, that competition also highlighted the hardships the gay contestants go through with their lives. It's mix of happiness, tears and laughter while watching the competition 😁😁🥰🥰
I beg to differ, the Philippines is a very rich country, with our different natural resources, agriculture, minerals and wildlife, and yes, the people too. But I don't think it's right to say that we aren't rich, we just haven't been able to make good use of them as other countries exploit these resources with their big companies.

So this is why! I read many pageant experts noticed her performance in the semifinals. Including TPN. He evn uploaded a video. She should have placed. Her pasarela is really good.
Thanks Ms. Malta for choosing Philippines. Philippines is the best or one of the best pageant powerhouse country that’s why a lot of countries are choosing Philippines for training, gowns and national costumes .

Mahahalata mo kaagad na Filipino ang trainor e, noong prelims nila. But it was a very impressive performance. Unlike sa ibang candidates na ayaw magpatrain, iba talaga ang lakad.

The best model coaches are men, the same I can say for fashion designers, stylists, hair dressers or anything that has to do with beauty for women, believe it or not they know best women’s bodies from the male prospective.
Hopefully, Filipino trainers need to focus on the countries that hasnt chose for the top, not the countries that really skills like south Africa, Venezuela and USA
In your opinion! No need to try and hate on Miss Bahamas who made history for her country. Besides, Miss Bahamas was being her authentic self and the judges picked up on that. I'm sure Malta can do the same someday too.
Ms. bahamas really deseved her spot in the top 10 even Ms. aruba. they're the dark horse during the competition. im expecting brazil and Belgium to enter top 16 but im still satisfied with the result. there are a lot of strong candidates this year.
