Catrinona Gray’s Walk is called in the PHILIPPINES - the LAVA walk. She has no knees? Very fluid movement. Her SLO MO turn is called by Filipinos fatale pirouette! She did her own hair and make up. She Conceptualised her Ibong Adarna gown which is a mystical bird in folklore literature in the Philippines. She is slew the stage with commanding presence. Her image was “ I am your Miss Universe”.

Catriona's gown was based on the Philippine epic Ibong Adarna which is a mythical bird. I am so elated she brings Filipino culture whenever she performs. Queen!

The one that catches my attention was Philippines, India, Costarica, Mexico and Vietnam. And special mention South Africa, USA, Peru and Spain.

Catriona killed it. Before the preliminary, I was on the opposite side, more of a fan of Tamaryn. I thought Catriona’s social networks were getting a bit boring and I wasn’t sure how she was going to truly look once on the runway. Tamaryn is gorgeous and sweet but still a bit too shy on stage even though it’s elegant. Yet Catriona nailed it. She’s screaming “I am Miss Universe” go the crowd. Hi, Siera. Catriona Gray - Ms. Philippines' gown is inspired by a Filipino mythical creature "Ibong Adarna" which is like the phoenix. You can look it up in wikipedia or other sites. Further, it can be noted that all of Catriona's outfits and accessories have a touch of Philippine symbolism embellished with modern designs.

Philippines' gown was mainly inspired by a Filipino mythical phoenix-like creature - Ibong Adarna but with also the Mikimoto crown and her earrings represents the Philippine flag. She presented most of her outfits with Filipino symbolism.

We have same thoughts about the girls.Actually at first I don’t really love the gown of Ms philippines. I think her gown in Ms U Ph 🇵🇭 are much better. But watching her again and again i see the fire on her She really slay it❤️ and for the 2nd time I’m inlove with the gown it was very detailed. And for Ms SA I’m disappointed with her performance i found her boring in preliminary i have so much expectation on her but i don’t see the fire on her.

AND MY BIG FAVORITES FOR THE CROWN : VENEZUELA , PUERTO RICO , ECUADOR, PERU, PHILIPPINES and BRASIL..(THEIR CATWALK WAS AMAZING )

USA's black eve gown during the Miss USA finals looked way better. She could've either worn it again or made some slight modifications o it and then wear it again for prelims. Just a thought because there were some Miss USA winners from 195 to 1989 that wore the same eve gown for both MUSA and MU finals nights. :)

Hey....How are you? Have you seen the videos Catriona Gray made where she explained why she came up with her National Costume. It is kind a documentary showing the World, the Universe rather the beauty of the Philippines. She brought the whole Philippines on her shoulder to showcase it in the entire Universe. Have you notice, all her attires and accessories were all inspired with the Philippine cultures. The bags, the earrings, the dresses, the gowns and most especially herself.

Miss Brazil really stood out during the evening gown competition. She's the one to watch. But I guess Miss Philippines will get the crown in the end. She's just perfect to be the next Miss Universe. She's very charming, very elegant, very smart and she knows exactly how to carry herself on and off stage. She's just unbeatable.
