Opal might win Miss Universe 2024 this year I’m telling you. Of all the recent Thailand queens, she is the most prepared and most strategic queen of all. She is a real threat. Ever since she placed 2nd Runner-Up in 2022, she has been preparing herself for this year. She got really close to MUT organisation, she even went to El Salvador last year to get the real taste of the live MU event. She even chose a filipino designer for her gown, which will draw more attention for her from the filipino community and pageant fans all around the world. She chose to answer in Thai despite being fluent in English to express herself better in National Pageant and to please the Thai ppl. She is so so strategic and the MU crown has been long gone from Thailand and I think it’s the time now. If anyone from recent years should get it, it should be Opal Suchata.

I didn’t think she would be this prepared and ripe because she is only 20. But hell…. She is super duper ready for the international stage in EVERY ASPECT.
Well wellwell if she is really this strategic, I would be proud. I want Thailand to win after all I'm Thai. And I would be proud that our representative is really smart. All of all I hope she will bring the crown back with her this year. :)
The reason why she decided to advocate for breast cancer is because she had lumps in her breasts before that she had to undergo surgery when she was just 16. Though they were found to be beneign, it was the moment she realized the importance of breast cancer awareness. The gown was designed with the breast cancer ribbon as the inspiration as the filipino designer wanted it to really represent Opal.
The translation is close , but in Thai language it’s more meaningful to Thai people with Thai wordings . Glad she decided to speak Thai because a few judges dont really understand Thai, and she want to let Thai people know what she’s talking about. She is fluent in English and can speak up to 3-4 languages. She is 21, now, born in Phuket thailand, she competed in mut in 2022 and got 3 rd place at 18 years old. She was intelligent and matured for her age but tpn didn’t give her high position at that time because wanted her to wait until she’s older. Glad she came back to compete. She is very sweet, intelligent extremely polite and classy. Also a natural beauty and pure Thai..that MUT has not been sending out but this time they found the one because she can speak english very well . She is 20. She was 18 when she competed in 2022, was announced as 3rd runner up during the show, but moved up to 2nd runner after the 1st runner up resigned. She can speak English, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese all fluently.
If she really can speak Spanish (even a little bit), that would be a benefit for her when she goes to Mexico. She can get along well with people in Mexico
I am curious about this Spanish speaking thing. The other day she was in a tv show and mentioned that she speaks Thai, English and Chinese. She didn't mention Spanish. So I am not really sure. ( I'm Thai so I understood what she said in the show. ) But if she actually speaks Spanish then GREAT . :)
@@tomgerman6158 I know she is good in English tho. I have known her since 2022 so I know her English is fluent. I think she answered in Thai because she did not have to prove anymore that she could speak in English as most of the audience already knew she could speak in English. When she competed in 2022, she answered the top 5 Q&A in English. Moreover, some of the judges could not understand English so she needed to answer in Thai for them.
I like her sweet classic Thai look. She is fluent in English so language is not a problem. She definitely needs a little more spice to her walk and do little more weight training to firm up the body to go up against the fierceness of the Latinas. She still has time to polish up and slay! For me, I am very proud of her. As far as I agree she needs to improve that 'wow' factor, I think she has it just enough. I mean comparing her performance in 2022 and 2024, she improved a lot overall. Her walk improved, her swimsuit technical skills improved, and even her communication skills improved. She also improved in the way she delivered her answers. Her styling improved too. In summary, everything just has improved. And she can still improve a lot more in these coming months before going to Mexico.
yes I agree with everything you said. She just literally had a FULL LEVEL UP after 2 years. From her com skills, styling, her poise, and poses and angles on stage, her eye contacts, engaging with the camera, STYLINGS, her swimsuit walk, her BODY, her evening gown, and wardrobe choices, ALL have been UPGRADED to the international level. I swear she really joined at the right time. I literally can’t see her NOT winning since the beginning. No one is her level in this batch, in all aspect, im not even exaggerating. From Malaysia.
@@alwaysmycamera Fr I love Anna but if Opal's styling, technical skills, and speaking skills in 2022 were like when she competed this year in 2024, I think she could have easily beat Anna and even Nicolene. Let's thank her team too for transforming her. She looks so ready to compete internationally. I hope the national organisation and her team will give her adequate training, especially in Q&A practices, because I do not see her having any problem advancing into the top 5 in MU.

But I definitely saw her potential when she looks at the camera, im like wow this lady is 18y/o and she has the FACE and GAZE of the universe but she wasn’t ready and ripe enough for the international stage yet. This year is just perfect for her. I couldn’t contain my excitement when she announced her candidacy for MUT. I too see no problem with her entering Top5 this year. She is that ready now. I can see her drive to win, and i really believe she will go all out. And there are still time for her to prepare now.
Been following her since she competed in 2022. When I saw she's the representative from Bangkok this year, I screamed 😊 We love Anntonia Porsild...she had an amazing reign...but the torch has been passed on and we need to uplift our newly crowned queen, Opal Suchata ❤
I like the new winner. She is stunning but Anntonia, for me, is one of a kind. I think she looked more on fire at Thailand comp last year than she did at Miss Universe but still my fav! She just has a very pleasant natural aura about her. I wish the new queen all the best.
Looking at top 2, I don't care who will win MUT 2024 as both deserve to be crowned but I agree with Luis, Antonia was setting the bar very high last year for MUT.

@3:41 her main secret is liposculpture, that’s why you can’t see an ounce of belly fat on Opal. There’s nothing wrong with doing that procedure because it improved her odds and made her a complete package. Hopefully she combines healthy lifestyle choices to maximize the result of her liposculpture. She is definitely a frontrunner if she knows how to stand out in terms of charisma and presence in an energetic country like Mexico.
There nothing wrong with anyone doing any procedure but never heard of Opal having anything done with her tummy or else we would heard about it. Most Thai’s are opened about these things.
the Final question and here's the the translation. FYI..I am Thai. The winning answer from Miss Bangkok ==> I believe that empowerment can be passed on to others based on your very own experience. Just like my experience when I had a surgery to remove a lump from my breasts. This inspires me to start a foundation called OPAL FOR HER to create breast cancer awareness, and most importantly to start a conversation and give hope to those that are currently fighting breast cancer. Breast cancer is a worldwide disease and not just in Thailand. It is something that I had been advocating and fighting for in the past and will continue into the future. Thank you.

Miss Phuket pretty but have no advocacy. She was not on point with her answer eventhou she speaks perfect English like Opal. Opal was able to tied her answer with her advocacy and ace the answer on point. Both born in Phuket Thailand island girls.

I like Antonia, but when looking at Opal, her natural beauty face, her heights, her maturity level and confidence and her advocacy. Looking at her I immediately see a MU queen quality. When Antonia won, I wasn’t sure but she did worked hard to get up to first runner up. Opal might just get that MU crown she’s already look like Miss Universe 🎀👑

Not a hater here, but I find Opal just a typical pretty Asian woman, not unique. Don't hate me, but I think Chelsea has a unique beauty, unique beauty normally stands out which equals stunning. And this works to people's eyes which are normally drawn to something we don't see every day.
