I respect Steve Harvey for his courage in owning up to his mistake as soon as he realized he made a huge mistake. You are still the best host Mr. Harvey and I truly respect and appreciate you for being the man that you are. Congratulations Pia for taking home the title...you are indeed beautiful with a heart ❤! Congratulations Miss Colombia as well and I can't imagine how you must be feeling after this event. Either way, all these beautiful ladies did their best but only one of them can take home the title and the crown. God bless you all

Nahakal Ki diwani. The reason why miss India followed miss Colombia cuz she opposed the results. She believed that she should have won first runner up. Miss Colombia should have won Miss Universe and Miss Japan should have won second runner up. She didn't congratulate Miss Philippines instead she and Miss Colombia went in changing room and comforting each other

How about if the emcee was not Harvey and he announced Colombia as the winner? Would he did the same what had Harvey done? Apologizing and announcing the true winner? That's the reason why I love Steve Harvey because he had shown that he is a real gentleman. Taking all the blame and putting his career in the hot seat just to correct his mistake. 🇵🇭💓

Its very primitive and simple minded for anyone to put any criticism on Pia for winning.. EVERY SINGLE JUDGE placed her in first place and she was crowned because she deserved to win and voted as MISS UNIVERSE.. Sympathy for Miss Colombia but unfortunatey for her she wasn't good enough on the night to carry off the crown.
hai!! as in grrrrrr!! Well I think the real victim of this mishap is actually Miss Pia because she was put into an awkward position by the situation. It would have made Miss Colombia so popular if she gracefully congratulated Pia, and walked out gracefully. To be honest, without this, Miss Colombia would have just been a first runner-up, and soon have been forgotten globally.
Hope next time they announce the winner of Miss U it should be done in tandem, just like the Oscars; that way incidents like this will not happen again.
+greekgeek8672 Yes! There was some kind of disconnect between the producer (or "director") and Harvey. The mistake should have been corrected immediately.
I agree that there should be no mistake with a huge pageant like this. You put yourself on a big stage with a huge crowd maybe you will say it's possible. It was still a human event and mistake is everywhere. The challenge with this is how Steve corrected it and it is not easy to apologize in a worldwide television. Maybe Steve and other hosts worldwide got a lesson from this.
It was Mr.Steve Harvey' s mistake...Miss Philippines obviously not stealing the Miss U 2015 Crown..it was a big mistake announcing the wrong winner...Philippines is wholy also very sorry to Miss Colombia, Philippines also loves Colombia.. No discrimination whatsoever!
+rgalang74 Harvey did well to come out and apologize before the show ended. I can not fault his choice of words. As he said, he takes full responsibility for the gaffe.
I really hope stop criticisms towards Ms Columbia, can imagine how embarrassing she is at that moment and i can feel her pain and disappointment. It’s not her fault anyway. At least Steve chooses to announce the right winner not just let it be like this, he remedies his mistake although after all hurts someone. Let’s cheer for the two amazing girls, and wish them a bright future together❤
Mrs Sri Lanka - World 2020 Carol Jurie should have watched carefuly the graceful and decent act of all the characters of this awkward mistake , from host steve harvey , miss universe 2014 ( colombia ) , 1st runner up 2015 miss colombia & miss universe 2015 philippines . It could have save her dignity & crown.
