I've always loved this movie and for some reason my parents don't. I love how caring Arthur is about the one little girl and making sure that she doesn't miss out on having a good Christmas, and I really like the underlying message that new tech isn't always the most reliable.

It's really more about compromise. Steve's newer, more high tech version of delivering presents is affective but has it's flaws, but Grandsanta doesn't like it because he prefers the old way with a sleigh and reindeer, but we've seen that this also has it's flaws too. Arthur meanwhile doesn't care how the present is delivered, as long as the child is happy. That's why he's worthy of being Santa. Even at the end we see that Arthur still uses Steve's spaceship, but has reindeer pulling it, almost as a loving tribute to the older ways.

"I wrapped 264,000 presents in three days, sir!" Man.. I know this is a movie so you gotta suspend some disbelief but that's inhuman. Working at Amazon, a good rate is around 300 boxes/hour. 72 hours * 300 boxes = 21600 boxes. Bryony works 12 times harder. That's unbelievable.

You need to watch the movie it took her 2.34 seconds to wrap her head, so without sleeping and without any help she could have wrapped 110k presents.

I did the math, she would've to, on average, wrapped 1 present every 0.98 seconds for 72 hours straight. Elves are jus built way too different.

Is it weird that i am far more sympathetic towards Steve, and i'd love to Arthur to have some sense smacked into him? And possibly give a reality check to Malcom? Grandsanta is untouchable, he's hilarious!

Thats the magic of the writing for this movie. Everyone is right yet wrong in different ways but they aren’t fully antagonistic about it. Just circumstances that seem impossible

A bit weird maybe. Steve is awfull with children and he really just views them as statistics. Even so his claims about the sleigh were untrue, as it was shown to still be very much capable of flying across atleast half of the world in the end. Arthur is over the top and way too caring and he does get a reality check on the Cuban beach when he realizes that nobody really cares… which ultimately leads him to get back on his feet because who else cares enough to get the job done but him? Thats what Santa should be, Both Steve and Malcom realizes this because they exhibit neither of that.
