Alpha and beta did have a rope, but only in ranked, unranked and forge/arena. BUT They did not have a rope in friendly challenges. And tournaments were played in friendly challenge mode. That said I think they added the rope to that play mode a few weeks after Blizzcon 2013 for that reason - there weren't many events around HS yet, but with the next year it started growing real fast. Like back in January there were already a lot of closed beta tournaments.

At the end of the day I'm glad he missed lethal at blizzcon on 2013, according to him he might have never continued playing HS after that and maybe he wouldn't even be streaming to this day.

I definately believe that totalbiscuit saw the lethal at blizzcon, he obviously reacted to the frost bolt. What else was he gonna do with it, frost bolt a minion? Just think Reckful is fooling himself or being stubborn again.
