Darling, they're long gone. She was getting ready to have custody of them, the grandmother and her boyfriend didn't want that.its very telling that she was afraid to go alone to pick up her children.

as of what i know, i know these two ladys, her ex was in rehab when they went missing, i am told that some people belive it was the grandmas bf that did this i am not sure.

Take note how the media reported the husband finding the car. They never said WHEN he found it. I'll bet when the husband wasn't getting any response from texts/calls to his wife, he drove the route. Husband likely found the car before a police report was even filed. Media knows the chain of events, yet picks and chooses what to report. They want to gin this up for views. Media is sensationalizing this for their own gain.

And they actually did a interview on unsolved mysteries ...and claimed they didn't no anything. But was responsible for her disappearance

True but another news outlet showed photo of him and said he was in jail for drug chargers. Still doesn't mean he didn't have mom and friend do something.

Ex was in jail or Rehab for drugs when they went missing but someone said mother in law and her BF might have had something to do with missing women.

Media is blowing it out of proportion. Because of the school being very near to where the car was found, it is on lockdown. It's very common to lockdown a school when a crime scene is nearby. The school sees two people have disappeared very near their school, so they lock it down. They don't want any of their students disappearing. It's likely targeted at the one mom, but school locks down because they don't know for certain it wasn't random. This is very normal and parents would be up in arms if the school wasn't on lockdown with two people disappearing right down the road from the school.

Oh that's sad. That pastor's wife was trying to be a supportive friend and she got mixed up into something she wasn't prepared for.

The information is sketchy at best , why take an acquaintance, why is the school locked down , have they looked into alibis of her ex and ex mother in law , if the ex husband didn't do it then you can bet the MIL hired someone. I just don't see them being alive sadly , none of this has the hallmarks of a happy ending

V. Butler's new husband found the car. Not the father of V. Butlers kids with whom she is in a custody dispute with. That man is supposedly in rehab. She should have taken her new husband with her to go pick up her kids, not another mom that can't protect them and now is a victim herself.

Her ex-boyfriend the father of her children just got out of jail on the 22nd of March he is a felon there was a Attorney who did a procast and look at court paperwork also a big custody case.I would be more worried about her x family over her new husband,he might of been very worried@@stephanieholmes7573

At first I thought this was the story about the two wives that claimed they were raped in Bermuda on vacation, NOT.

Not everyone lives a life filled with issues, in fact people tend to hate those who actually have found the solutions, maybe instead they should listen to what’s working and not complain that their life isn’t relatable, not everything needs to be relatable and if your at rock bottom stop looking to the left or right of you and look up. In no way am I saying that there are people who have zero problems, it rains on the just in the unjust, but there’s a drastic difference between those who self inflict problems and those who don’t. In someways there seems to be more trouble for those who truly do the right stuff without compromise, however the stuff that matters like joy and peace no matter what those people have going on in their life with troubles like cancer or being robbed they are doing better. Not to sound like I’m oversimplifying things, but truly people who live completely surrendered to God through Jesus Christ as their Savior for giving them and guiding them are going to do better and that goes beyond salvation and the better that they do has nothing to do with their circumstances but everything to do with the hope that they have and the fruits of doing things God‘s way not by your own efforts but out of a genuine and real relationship with him. As for this family I can’t even begin to follow what’s going on, I know to pray, not my will or my understanding, but I pray for God‘s higher ways and gods greater Solutions over this situation. Amen

Allegedly grandma had custody because the pos ex is or was in rehab. Mom didn’t have custody because of her seizures. But she was in legal process of regaining custody. Allegedly.

The current husband of Veronica found the car BECAUSE HE KNEW THE ROUTE THEY WERE TAKING. Based on that when they didn't arrive he went out driving the route and found it abandoned and called the LE. @ bettydamnboop

I want to know what the police are actually doing , the information is unbelievably sketchy , why didn't they find the car , why aren't they questioning the ex and his mother , seems if his mother wanted custody then she wouldn't be the first to turn to murder to get custody, if its not the ex then his mother has hired someone. What I dont get is why the ones husband followed them there and found the car that seems odd.

Everyone. It was a planned birthday visit but the mom was afraid to go alone and her pastors wife offered to drive her. Husband knew, boyfriend knew, grandma knew. The trip wasn’t a secret.

OSBI just announced based on evidence in the vehicle... there is reason to believe foul play was involved.

I grew up 30 miles from Hugoton in SW Kansas. This part of KS and OK is very rural with small farming communities that are basically a grain elevator with some houses and farms scattered around. There may be one country school that serves several of these small communities and the farm families in the area. It is not unusual for some of these schools to have a very small number of students in a class. Veronica probably started school in kindergarten with a larger class but by the time she graduated, she was the only one in the class.
