Dale is such an original and creative singer and Terry is one of the best drummers on the planet. Warren is an incredible guitar player too. I went to see Missing Persons about 10 years ago in a local club here in Northern California. Unfortunately the show was in the middle of the week and not enough people showed up, so the promoter cancelled the show. That promoter was totally lame because the band was all set up ready to play. At least I got to meet Dale.

This band had an Italian American DNA to it between Dale Consalvi (maiden name), Terry Bozzio, and Warren Cuccurullo. Not mention they were members of another Italian-American's band - Frank Zappa. Interesting little thread there.

Terry can talk all he wants they were such pro musicians .

Wow. Not a 'cute' interview at all... The recording sessions of 'Rhyme & Reason' were very stressful on the Bozzio marriage, and it shows. Terry and Bruce Swedien co-produced the album, and as Swedien puts it: 'Never produce your own wife.' The fights were intense. And so, it's no surprise to see that when Dale counters Terry with "I'm rich and famous,' Terry pointedly remarks 'Because of me...' Still, it is sometimes from moments of great tension that great art emerges, and 'Rhyme' is fabulous.

I am surprised there are not far more clips from this tour. I remember seeing them on this tour in Pittsburgh -strange show. Cucurullo had a neck problem and the show was kind of awkward. Still there really is not alot out there whether it be video or photos from this tour.

What? No mention of having played w/Zappa (all 3 of them have been in Zappa's band at some point - Dale & Warren were on the JOES GARAGE album, & Terry played drums w/Frank from about 75-79)!!

@DruidTM I was at that show! Syria Mosque Ballroom... no stage! Warren's neck went out and the encore, 'Words,' went on without him. Dale made the best of it though, and the band sounded great...

This was my favorite period of the bad i love Rhyme and Reason and the tour was so good, man i wish they followed up with another amazing album and tour not "Color in your life".

I love how hybrids of music become apparent... had the timing been 3 years later, Dale would have been the perfect hybrid package to sell of a Madonna and Cyndi Lauper. Since the timing was off; she will have to be content with the hybrid of her European counterparts: Siouxsie, Hagen and Lennox.

I don't know whatever that thing is that Dale calls Missing Persons these days, but I think the real answer is to have the original band get together, and have Gwen Stefani sing.
