The U.S. Coast Guard offered their deepest condolences to the families of the passengers aboard a Titanic-exploring submersible after debris from the sub was found on the sea floor. The debris was "consistent with a catastrophic event" suffered by the pressure chamber of the sub. Jericka Duncan anchored CBS News' special report.

When it's billionaires, they do anything to find them. When it's thousands of poor refugees in Greece, they delay their rescue. The double standard that is applied here is absolutely disgusting

As tragic as this is, this is why we need to listen to experts. Oceangate had numerous letters and correspondences sent their way about how unsafe and ill advised this was. While my sympathy goes out to those who lost their loved ones, let this serve as a lesson that safety is the no. 1 concern, or it should be.

Listening to experts is considered "woke" in 2023 America.

Americans say this as they completely disregard experts on medical matters without realising their own hypocrisy.

I basically said the same thing that they were billionaires so they should’ve spent way more money on something way safer. They knew the implications of what would happen, but joked with their lives (you can see in the video of showing how the sub looks inside). With how small it is, with the fact that there were five people, I assume they ran out of air sooner.

It’s a comfort to know just how many people used their expertise, and who all pulled together to try and rescue those 5 souls. My thoughts go to the families who lose not one but two members. RIP.
