I like how the remasters of the original 4 songs maintain the same structure and isn't changed a lot. WHICH IS GREAT BECAUSE YOU MADE THIS SONG BETTER DUDE
I mean Safety Lullaby is pretty different and I think it sounds worse, can agree for Phase 1 Monochrome (the instrumental's much better) but Left Unchecked isn't as good as before imo.
@@Xenorvya Safety Lullaby v1 was outdated, monotone and boring. It was just the same 2-3 seconds beat infinitely with unsync gf vocal, it NEEDED a rework and basically every v1 song needed one, they just cant compete with new songs
@@Vanny_Galaxy Yikes, I heavily disagree with that. Safety Lullaby v2 isn't as spooky, as it's meant to be, and GF's vocals sound off in the song. It doesn't need all of those new vocals. If anything, it sounds unsync like you say. That song is now the second worst in the mod imo. Left Unchecked V2 is definitely a downgrade, the piano in the instrumental is nice but the instrumental's much softer, Girlfriend sings too much which kills the original vibe I liked the song for, which was turn based, but now they sing together and it sounds off. Lots of unneccesary new vocals for Girlfriend, and the hard part isn't as cool as the old one and it's much easier gameplay wise. Lastly, there is no more instrumental break, Girlfriend sings over it and that sucks. Monochrome V2's phase 1 is good, some new vocal additions sound good/off, and the instrumental's remake is somehow actually really good compared to phase 1. However, phase 2 is just bad. I'm not the kind of person to enjoy a sudden change of genre in a song. From whatever Monochrome was to heavy metal.. yeah no. The vocals don't even sound like they're harmonizing in phase 2, it's just there to make the song louder. Missingno V2 is quite an improvement, but the slow ending ruins the entire flow of the song as it could've ended much quicker without a repeat of the main song but slower.
@@Xenorvya Safety Lullaby was never scary, if anything, its just a majestic version of the original Hypno's Lullaby. Yes it was the original intent, but honestly the pure raw lavander town theme with some weird guy singing is 100% scarier than a mute girl with a rough voiced guy. What they did was just make it sound better. (bad within context and good without it) Left Unchecked V2 is bad, Hypno's vocal makes me have headache. The piano is there just because yes, the break sounds horrible with the random high pitches, the goes hard part gets bad when the two sing in together, and if you want to talk about the music's vibe, Hypno literally just ejected his head off from how mad he was that gf didnt get hypnotized, I would've expected something darker than Safety Lullaby's feel, not some carnival themed dancing, the song structured within that context is just bad, nothing to it. Monochrome V2 rework is good, phase 2 killed it, have nothing to say about it. Missingno never made sense to me, more because its based on a killing progress glitch, and the only glitches that appears are arrows switching and screen stutter, which is alright I guess, its just not missingno. The slow ending was supposed to represent Missigno glitching out the game entirely, which makes it even more bad that nothing special happens within it, maybe it as supposed to be different in the original, but the leaked version is just bad (the ending point).

Yeah, I love the "intro" for lack of a better term, and especially how they slowed the last two turns down, cuz it 1 makes the song easier and 2 just sounds plain awsome.
this song gives vibes of messing with things beyond your control. The slow buildup before Missingno appears with a glitchy scream and BF making two singular notes that sound like "Uh Oh" sets the mood.
I always interpreted the slow buildup as Boyfriend chanting the spell to summon Missingno. despite his lack of magical knowledge. Didn't register the two notes during the glitchy scream as sounding like "Uh oh" until I read your comment, so thanks for helping me notice that.

Wether it was jokingly or not, nobody except black ppl should really be using a word that's slightly reworded from a slur. I'm not saying it's cancel worthy or justified or anything, I'm just sayin'.
The build up of the song was like the legend of missingno. You heard him was a horrifying pokemon which can corrupt your whole game, that was the slow part at the start of the song. Later you know he can make your item duplicate in infinite manner, that's the jam
I love this, and I kinda understand why the composer thought people would hate it for no reason. It sounds different while also sounding the same. The tempo changes are very cool, and I love how they shortened the intro a little by adding some sections before Missingno appears. The old Missingno sounded eerie the first time you played it, but if you played it again, it was boring to wait for the song to actually start, this feels better.
i like to think the slow ending towards the end of the song implies that while MissingNo. messed up the notes for BF, it also messed up the BPM of the song itself.

when i first heard the intro of this new version of Monochrome i tought it was gonna change the song a lot but until it started it was off my expectations. gotta admit this song is still a banger as always!

No, honestly, it's a really stupid thing to hate his guts over. And also, cancelling/leaking an entire project over it. Not sure if TheInnuendo is against Banbuds, which I hope not. But either way, he's allowed to be.
Unpopular opinion maybe, but one thing I definitely disliked throughout the ENTIRE mod and *especially* the sound remakes are the _long note ends_. I genuinely think that there's too many ending long notes when turns finishes. Beyond that? Positively amazing!
I still think the reason behind this mod's cancellation is incredibly stupid when compared to what happened with vs Sonic.exe or Mid-Fight Masses and the people who were behind those mods.
@@scrubsthesplash No body should ever face harassment over slightly wonky charting in a mod, Dokki_Doodles and the Mid-Fight team didn't deserve any of what they got because that was fu*ked up. My point was that stupid ass drama like this has zero reason to keep happening in this community, and I just hate seeing FNF mods getting canned either because of complete loss of motivation or because of dumbass drama that has no reason to happen.

I like the slow build ups of this version and added more into the instrumental because the old version felt some action was missing I kinda didn't agree what they replaced with 2:09 and I prefer the original version though
This is the only good remaster, although I dislike new missingno's ending, why is it so slow and boring? It's literally just the man part but slow. Monochrome Phase 1 got a huge glow up, but I don't like some new vocals. Left Unchecked V2 is bad, no questions asked. What the fuck happened to Safety Lullaby? It got butchered.
