In this video, I take you on a tour and teach you about the history of the beautiful Mission San Juan Capistrano in San Juan Capistrano, Orange County, California. Then I go to El Adobe Mexican restaurant nearby and introduce my new food grading system: the Dank Rank. If you like the video give it a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel! The fact fact that the tribe forced to build it is still alive, and some still live in the area. Yet most of the Juaneno view San Juan Capistrano in a negative way. In fact most of the tribes harmed by the missions view the missions amd Serra in a negative manner.

Something that must be told yes. They have personal issues against the missions and they have more personal issues and hatred against anyone that isn't part of the tribes as well. Unfortunately like of humanity that has issues with events of the past. They want to erase it in a attempt to heal and unfortunately they fall into the same cycle that caused it. The missions were indeed a source of horror, and pain for many, however they are also what brought about Spanish California and likely prevented in a twisted irony United States culture from completely turning California into a copy of the Eastern US. Due to its Spanish, and Native connections. Although the stain of what they did could never go away. The missions still are vital to the Roman Catholic faith in California as a symbol and are literally the crown jewels of California's history. They also do serve as a connection to the native american's that were there. They must be preserved and the roles as historical artifacts be maintained and serve as bridge for all and connection. Healing doesn't come through destroying what hurt you. Its by turning it into something that can help you move on or possibly change it to something better.

I’m trying to find the mission I went when I was a kid with my class. Maybe you can help me. I went to a place where in the entrace had holy water. In front of you there was 5 or 6 saints and to the left there was a room where Mary was in. In another room there was a big tomb made of wood. I believe there was a small cemetery with big pebbles to identify where the body was. It was around 2009-2008 when I went. I’m sure it changed a lot but that’s all I remember and that I also went to Monterrey bay aquarium.

Actually. The mission system was created to make sure US did not expand to the west. They want to make sure Spain was there fisrt

The Mission system was established so that California could be used by Spanish Galleons to have ports to collect goods, and supplies, along with any repairs before they made the trip to Asia as they lest major ports in New Spain (Mexico).
