Mission Viejo Martin Advertising Film 

We moved to Mission Viejo in 1967. There were only 2 subdivisions at the time, Deane Homes and Aegean Hills, and at the time, Aegean Hills was just outside of MV. My parents paid $32,000 for the Apollo home in Aegean Hills and were worried about making the payment, but they did it! I graduated from MVHS in 1972. I sure do remember all of the open fields. It was so good to be a kid in MV at that time. Too many people and too much traffic for me now tho. I moved up to the mountains by Big Bear. Thank you for posting this movie! Good memories!

MVHS Class of 1976! We moved into the Deane Homes in 1971 after my Step-father retired from 45 years with Chrysler/Plymouth/Dodge Brothers. It was seemingly remote and cut off from the rest of the OC. I always loved living on Granvia Drive in Mission Viejo. Wish I had bought a home there in the 70's! Not crazy about what it has become however - overcrowded.
