I'm not sure how I ended up on this side of RU-vid. I live directly behind the training academy; you can hear them yelling. I go to the college that this graduation was held at; it is weird that I ended up here.
This reminds me of me at the youth challenge academy at camp shelby Delta platoon d-25 Note* Yes camp shelby is a military base. I did not go there for the military I went to get my ged , it is a quasi-military environment

Charles Smoove It’s just how MHP does it, they qualify to drive the unit while at the academy and then they are assigned an FTO to ride with them for 12 weeks after they graduate. then they are officially able to patrol by themselves
Cody Tucker ohhh ok gotcha 👌🏽 thank you! Maryland State Police is different. After you’re done with field training, then you’re assigned your own vehicle to patrol on your own.
I just did a ridealong in my state with state police and I asked them that question they give you whatever they have at the time it is randomly picked but the Suvs are reserved to troopers who are taller.
Thank you for your service you guys one thing I would do away with though is the blue line on the vehicle and all of the vehicles I should say get rid of the thin blue line please I am begging you get rid of it somehow.

U have to memorize the cadence and also be able to stay in synce with the marching any body can do it if they practice more than likely the instructor did it but I maybe wrong

I'm sorry, but this act at the point before they are seated, look more like the June Taylor dancers. A bit too militaristic especially for the little bit of pay they are receiving. As pointed out they are making less than half of the Highway Patrolmen of Texas.
3 to 4 months of feild training officer they do this because they won't wreck the feild training officers car also they are bounced around with different officers so it's not like its one car they are driving its multiple during the 3 to 4 month period of fto.

@@repentance7773 No worries, I get it... I have much love for our Law Enforcement but it just seems too military in appearance when it's not necessary to protect the public. Leave the military on the battlefield and keep Police officers on the streets.
