From what I gathered and from speaking to him , it’s a real story coated in metaphors which you have to unpack, this whole album is real and this song is the final part of it, he ended up seeing his first love one last time years later however, he got hit by the reality of how far she actually moved on which means hit by his own past hesitations and doubt because if he reached out to her sooner then he could’ve had her hence him referred to being hit by a car this time. (In the last season album he ended off by getting shot by an ex, symbolising betrayal, cheating etc song: I thought I’d die in your arms ) but in this season, this girl didn’t kill him directly but the build up of him not listening to his heart ended up leaving him hurt in the end… very deep and detailed art and this is only a brief explanation, also try and read the description of his recent vid on YT he breaks the album down more but I’m sure there’s so much more to break down ‘cause it’s so depth. I’m pretty sure this is not normal in current rap nowadays, MiSTah Kye is truly a genius and I love trying to work out the puzzles and hidden meanings of his tracks.
