one of the only mistakes I found was how Caroline said that Stefan was a Gemini on the first episode and when you look it up it says he was born November 5th which makes him a Scorpio

with the bottle one, the blood shook as she took it out of her bag. so blood was on the sides. The blood tvd uses is like syrup, so the blood stayed on the sides, so the bottles wasn't ever full. it just looked that way.

Hair ones are not mistakes she can put her hair over or back everytime as a reflex..

One mistake they made that no one ever talks about is when Stefan goes to get the moon stone in the well full of vervain and Elena helps him out. When they both come out, Caroline is touching them which she cannot do without it really burning her...

Do you know how HARD it is to film a show? First, you have to make sure the cast looks good and the background. Secondly, you have to do scenes OVER and OVER and OVER again. Third, you have to make sure the lighting is perfect and the sound is just right. I could care less about these minuscule mistakes you just so happened to stumble across. Watch the damn show how it is or don't watch it at all.

4:52 when her hair is "over" then the camera was on Damon (Ian) for a while and then it went back to her of course there is time for her to pull her hair back behind her ear....

To be honest, who really cares about these little mistakes. The show is great, there's no doubt about it. I love the show. It's awesome. And yeah who would really waste their time on making a stupid video. Seriously

Every show has mistakes, not everything is perfect. They shot the scene over and over again even if the first one was perfect, they shot it again so that's why Elena's hair looked different everytime. Just watch the series and forget the mistakes, okay? :)

Guys some of you are being mean. The person who posted the video did say it wasn't major errors. She also implied that maybe it's a little odd to be noticing all these irrelevant bloopers. She most likely put this up to just see if fellow fans of the show noticed as well not to criticize the show. Most likely this girl is a great fan who enjoys watching vampire diaries multiple times and that's why she noticed the bloopers.

For the scene when she gets out of the shower and is talking to Damon, when you talk about her hair being behind her ear all of a sudden, i'm not sure if your a guy or a girl but as a girl i have to say i always do that. they move the camera onto Damon and when they did that she pushed her hair behind her ear lol that is soooo common girls ALWAYS push their hair behind their ears and you do it in a second it does not take long so i do not see that as a mistake. Especially when i am nervous or having an intense conversation its just normal to me to fidget with my hair,

6:31 that one was because they filmed the pilot in Vancouver and the rest of the show in Georgia, so they had a different set and therefore a different house number

With the hair, when they are showing another character she could tuck it behind her ear so.

Oh my god I'm also noticing that this person has made an whole youtube account for "TVDmistakes" I mean honestly can you really be that sad and horrible towards a show a lot of people enjoy and adore that you would make an account for these silly uncalled for nitpicks that you call mistakes? I really think that you need to grow up and realize that not a lot of people care about these mistakes they only want to watch the show and that this video is beyond disrespectful to the viewers, the directors, the producers, the actors and to anyone else who has worked on the show.

Some mistakes that you noticed, were really stupid, like that about the hair. Maybe she moved her hand to put the hair behind the ear, when we weren't watching.

You do realize when Elena's hair goes from behind ear to not behind ear or whatever else that the camera pans away to other shots and then back in which time she could of moved her hair! Something girls do a lot! Not really a mistake though. Nor does anyone care you have WAAAAAYYYY to much time on your hands lmao

Ok so no one cares really if they made a few mistakes.. they have a huge and popular series and they try there best. Im sure they dont always notice these small mistakes. And Nina sounds like Elena so im sure she said Elena and you just got the wrong thought about it. And i dont think that anyone else really noticed the number difference.. cause not everyone notices every little thing in a show. They just watch it and enjoy it. But i did like the video and i did think that the hair things where pretty obvious but everything else was just simple mistakes that i dont think even the producers picked up.

Elena actually did in fact move! The “Pilot” was shot in Vancouver, British Columbia while the rest of the show was filmed in Covington, Ga. As a result, the new house number was changed and is in fact the actual house number of where it is located. (P.S I recently came from visiting there!)🤗😉

I noticed in the beginning of the series, the high school was bigger and grey ( same with the halls), but as you get more into the series, the high school turns into a smaller, more orange colored school.

obviously they shoot it different times and put it together sooo this is pointless

In the first season Elena comes into the Salvatore house talking to Damon saying she will help get Katherine back and she’s taking off a scarf and almost had it all the way removed and then when it switches back to her she’s taking it off all over again. The only reason I notice these things is bc I’ve rewatched the series like 100 times 😳

They take multiple shots of each scene because things get messed up. Producers probably thought that those specific parts of the scene looked best together

the reason that the house numbers are different is that for the pilot episode they shot in vancouver but since the show got really big they moved to film in georgia in the US so that’s why it looks different.

um #1 she said elena #2 itmeans they filmed another day and they re did her hair #3 who cares #4 so it just means she was fixing her hair ike normal people get a life and stop making fun of tvd coz its better than you ll ever be

Alright i'm posting my opinions.. This video was 6 minutes wasted of my life.. The first one.. She said Elena.. Bonnie said ''El'' quietly then said The rest louder.. Yes it does kinda sound like Nina.. Nina/Elena hair that moves I never saw anyone in my life that talked walked moved there head ANYTHING and there hair not move.. I get that this comment is rude but really? This video was rude I know it is kinda cool to find mistakes but really keep them to yourself. I love this show the actors everything.. Half of these ''mistakes'' happen everyday... You have no reason to go telling the world about it.. I also would like to say another thing about the hair. That is so stupid out of all things talk about you say hair wow is all I can say. Put yourself in the actors directors and everyone else who works hard to make this show for everyone to enjoy.. I'm sorry if this is a very rude comment I understand but so was the video I have more to say but I cant waste my time on here to long. But just know Everyone makes mistakes.. I think this video is pretty cool because you get to see things that you missed.

Another one is that when Elena was first taken by Elijah, Jeremy's blood helped to locate her... but Elena was adopted, and not related to Jeremy, at least not by blood.

I found more mistakes: 1:48 The lake's water reaches the middle of Elena's chest when at 2:10 the water only reaches the middle of her stomach. 4:31 when Katherine gives a cup for more blood we can see that the quantity that was poured by Elena wasn't changed.

if you go on slow and pause at the right moment you can see that the bottle actually isn't full again, its just the lighting, the bottle has a little bit left with the stains on the rest of the bottle

the address scene was filmed for the pilot (the first) episode (ever) in canda, the rest of the show was filmed in georgia so it makes sense the addresses aren't the same since it was the first time filming and a different set.

The part when Elena gave Catherine blood....you said that the bottle was full at first? well how would you know because Elena held the bottle in a way that the blood was at the top of course it would look full. so don't be so full of yourself.

i always notice how they’e looking. like when someone hugs someone and their arms are wrapped around the top of the guy then they switch angles and their hands are around the waist. i also notice if they’re looking up then the angle switches and they look to the side

During Comic Con for Season 2 the question was asked during the Q&A about the house number being different, it was explained by the Producer that the Pilot was filmed in Vancouver and a different house was used for both Elena and The Salvatore's. But from episode 2 and on everything was filmed in Atlanta and Elena's house and the Salvatore house that everyone knows were all from Atlanta. So the pilot will contain somethings that look like mistakes.

Okay so that last mistake.. the house number... the first scene was from the pilot episode and the next scene was from episode 22 of season 1(and also she kinda said the address not the house number on the phone) ... PILOT episode is alwasy different from the rest of the series. cos the pilot is made to see if people are gonna watch the series or not. Almost everything changed from that pilot episode. Elenas house is different, school is different, the grill.. ect. So no wonder that the house NUMBER is different. Im not saying this to be mean but I just wanted to point it out.

the keyring on elenas finger was her car keys and Bonnie said ELENA not NINA in the 1st clip you just cant hear it very well. i checked by watching the episode.
