After losing all of our gear to the warden, I started the process of getting all my armour and tools back! From there I wanted to find a Smithing template for netherite and upgrade everything again.
Unfortunately things didn't quite go to plan. So I had to improvise!
A few times!

Dude I facepalmed so hard when you died on your Enderman farm. 😂 And yes, Fire Res potions are your friend in bastions, as you can chug one and then just lava swim the main loot while kiting the brutes. That's my strat, anyway, but it seems to work. As soon as i get the template and pigstep, though, nary another bastion shall be entered by me

Once you get that first death after a long dry spell, they always come at you like that. Less than optimal gear, getting used to tanking, and getting badly shook. It always hurts.

Man, this definitely highlights part of why I save my best gear for combat specifically; it's so easy to forget how much fully-enchanted netherite protects compared even to diamond.

I just burst out with a laugh when just made a crafting table and you turned around and there was your table...my heart just sank when you died in the nether, all your stuff TWICE. But after that it was devastating when you were left with nothing in the end world. Absolutely a bad day.
