I actually loved this series. It was old fashioned but the writing was stilted like with most N52 books. They could have made a better origin though.

It wasn't nearly as bad as people like to pretend it was. Aside from soy boys whining about their busty blonde fantasy getting blacked, it was pretty decent and there wasn't much to hate about it. Had it been Batman or Nightwing banging Power Girl no one would have complained. Power Girl and Mister Terrific actually had a rather good relationship and decent chemistry pre 52 so them being an item isn't too far fetched. The series didn't deserve to be cancelled after 8 issues but because black characters are on a short leash we get lames like black Batman and black (Val Zodd) Superman. Mister Terrific's series did a look of good things and it could've been fleshed out with a more seasoned writer.

I don't know why Didio would conclude these N52 series with sendoffs that completely ended the character bu just having them go away rather than setup a new status quo.

Yeah, that does bother me, too. On the one hand, it is nice to have kind of a definitive, "Okay, this is where the comic ends," but on the other hand it feels unnecessary and even mean to have that end be, "this character absolutely will not get another comic because they can't."

Yeah this entire series feels like a complete and utter trainwreck and honestly have mr terrific date power girl felt forced and just wrong on so many levels at least in my opinion.

Yeah I don't get why there was a weird forced relationship between PG and terrific. It just served to confuse the plot and the character's personalities. I was not a fan.

@@CaptainAway indeed and honestly to make it even worst that relationship between Mr terrific and power girl was only addressed in the world finest book where we found out power girl was only using mr terrific to find away to go back home to earth 2 which messed up and wrong on so many levels.

Yeah, exactly. They do hint at that in this series, but if you don't know who Karen Starr is and you don't read World's Finest, this series makes her look like a super villain who's sleeping with him to sabotage his life. It's all kinds of messed up.

Not sure why, but the name Mr Fantastic is fine.But Mr Terrific sounds corny as Hell.

You're not wrong. Mr. Fantastic actually does sound kinda cool for some reason. On a side note, I kept almost referring to him as Mr. Fantastic when recording the audio.
