Haha! Well we don't know the exact details yet on how long the event will last and how fast Bronze farming will end up being. But if there's old MoP mounts you're looking to get as well, it might be worth trying to get them on live so you have to farm up less Bronze during the limited time Timerunning event

I'm a collector as well. According to SimpleArmory my mount collection as of this moment is 882 / 916 (97%). So I'll collect them no matter how many or few get added. But I'm also a little conflicted on the state of mount collecting. On one hand there are players who like getting many different colors of mount models, they feel they're different mounts. On the other hand there is the question of what value do the mount collection Achievements have if they're not a challenge to earn due to the inflationary nature of the reprinting of mounts in different colors in the modern expansions. I don't think there's an easy answer to what the right design philosophy is for mount collecting in WoW. Different players have different wants/expectations from the game. In terms of the world boss mounts I personally don't mind it all that much. They already substantially buffed the droprates with DF due to the Dracthyr droprate bug. Anyone who really wants to grind it out can do so with an army of alts already anyway. As it currently works on the PTR you'll need a significant amount of Bronze to buy even a single world mount. So whether it's a grind with an alt army in the regular game or a grind for Bronze in Timerunning, I don't really see that as much of a difference. However, regarding the mass printing of recolor mounts in the more modern expansions doesn't sit right with me either. There's something about the inflationary nature of the mass reprinting of mounts in different colors that feels like it's a detriment to mount collecting as a whole. But that's definitely more of a gut reaction than one based on logic.

​@@BBMezzy just came back from a 3yr afk, and got both sha and galleon mounts in 2cds with my 18-alt account. But guess my excitement won't last that long until everyone grinds them out with this bronze vendor.

yeah the substantial amount added each event makes me less motivated to do mount collection any more.
