@@Seraphim190. So, this is you got this wonderful remix track & used it in your Space Harrier game. I showed my friend game Patrick your Space Harrier videos. He was absolutely speechless bruh. Thank you & Mitch Murder for everything!
The inversions at the end of the intro cords and throughout the end were phenomenal, especially with that shimmery patch. Plus those punches in the bridge just give it such an 80's charm of glam and power so true to this game and its era.
Now used as my intro... you have no clue how much the original theme tune from the arcade hit my childhood way back in around 86 sorta time. This remix is very true to the original which makes it top
Wow. That was more 80s than the actual game!! I thought I lost touch with reality and transported to the Upside-Down for the duration of the song. Thankfully the Demogorgon didn’t eat me! Speaking of which, who thinks “demogorgon” would make a good Space Harrier boss. And the stage you fight him in would be called UPSIDEDOWN or HAWKINS or WINONA or some shout-out like that. But first we need a space Harrier reboot!!
Absolutely love your work. Space Harrier is one of the greats of the FM Synthesis era... as are Galaxy Force II and Power Drift ("Artistic Traps" = Mitch Murder!). Fingers crossed those get the MM treatment someday!
The original theme was sort of my unofficial anthem of arcade gaming in the mid 80s. Love this wonderful homage! Wonder what Mitch could do with the Ducktales moon stage theme?
There actually exists a song called “Space Harrier date mix” that combines the Space Harrier tune and the Ducktales theme into one amazing song. Look it up on here sometime!!!
I have to say, for anyone who loves this, you can probably purchase it in any mobile music platform, I know so as I've purchased this in Amazon MP3 store, and trust me... RU-vid weakens the experience of the music
Funny enough Space Harrier is a big inspiration point for Bayonettas creator Hideki Kamiya he even made the first part of the final boss of the original Devil may cry a Space Harrier styled fight
The game actually is beatable on one credit-I’ve done so on the Nintendo Switch without using any extra features (such as rapid fire) and with settings at default arcade configuration (3 lives, extend at 5 million points, normal difficulty). The Switch version is the exact same game as the arcade, albeit modified for widescreen, you’re limited to 3 continues, and the ability to add credits to buy extra lives has been removed for obvious reasons.
