I had never heard of Lion Bars before in my life, so spent half the sketch wondering if they were real or just something made up for a bonus joke on the end. Either way, now I want one
That office is about the size of my room back when I was a kid. You pretty much had room only for one person unless the other was laying on the bed. Or in the closet.
The funny thing is that Nestlé actually discontinued the Lion bar in many European countries where Mars managed to corner the market. So most of us outside the UK are actually wondering what Lion bars are all about, do they put in real lion or something?
If there's one area of Mitchell's and Webb's brains that aren't smothered in creativity, it's the part that comes up with names for characters. Is it just me or is every other Mitchell and Webb character either named Mark or John?
In their earlier sketch show (Situation) they had a lot of characters called Guy. Like, we get it, it's a guy. It also turned out to be Ginger's (Digby's sidekick) real name in the one where he gets his life together. Maybe a callback?
