It's easy to see how horrible this woman is but it is ridiculous to ignore that a man sat on that stand and said he saw that his child was abused and he didn't do anything about it. Heaven forbid you inconvenience your own life to protect your child. He is just as responsible for everything that happened to those kids by turning the blind eye.

I have a set of twin girls and their father wasn't there for them either. I struggled the same way and even had CPS called on me because we were homeless and would go for days without food. When I did get food, I would give to the girls and keep going hungry. I reached out to their father too, but I got no help from him at all, so I do understand how she feels. However, I don't understand why she thought killing her children would make things right. The struggle to raise them being a single mom might have turned out differently. My daughters are A/B students, both have jobs, neither are pregnant, one is heading to the marines and the other to college. Even with their father not being there, they surprised me with the decisions they have made regarding their lives. There are tons of single moms out there who struggle to raise their children. The kicker is you don't give up on raising your kids because they have deadbeat dads. When they become adults, they could surprise you on what responsible adults they could become despite having an absent father.

There’s absolutely no way the father of my children would go a month without seeing/speaking to our kids - never mind years! I know it’s not as simple to up and take the kids but come on 😔 Heart breaking what happened to two beautiful kids! So cruel and such a waste of life. I just found out that the remaining two kids were also severely abused. Even the little one she is talking of “protecting” had scars on his back. This whole thing was a cover up story. She tortured all of them severely. Look it up. Starving them, suffocating them until they lose consciousness. It’s disgusting.

I just wonder who failed her along the way...It's just terribly sad. I somehow have sympathy for her, because she's a victim of her circumstance. It's much deeper than her actions and while her children were sacrifices of all of that, there's a much deeper understanding of all of this beyond what she did.
