MitiS - Parting 

First time listening to this in years, it's weird now, because I was in my mid teens then, now I'm in my mid 20's, and experiencing new feelings that are quite bittersweet listening to this aged genre, feeling the freedom I felt as a teen, the friends I had, the memories, the pure innocence of my younger self enjoying this music without a care, it's something I will never get back.

Almost 8 years ago this masterpiece was released, and still it’s one of the best, keep on keeping on MitiS

The very first Mitis song I ever heard. I will never forget.

And after years I came back to this song and this picture and yet people still realize that on the top right corner on the cloud there's a person standing on it, opposite of that, the left top corner there's also another person, they're parting.

I remember stumbling across this song in my sophomore year of high school, I had gotten news that my best friend had taken his own life earlier that day. When I went home and laid down in my bed that night, whilst trying to drown out the sadness of dealing with that I found this song. It means so much more to me than I could possibly describe in a single comment, I cried then, and every time since i’ve listened to this. I feel a certain type of nostalgia over this particular track like no other song has ever given me. Almost 10 years later and I still get chills from listening to it, every single time. RIP Alex, I love you and miss you so much pal 🖤

I have always said this song sounds like weeping. It truly feels like I’m parting from an intense love that I can no longer be a part of, for better or for worse, and looking back at all the great times I had with this person. A painful but beautiful moment where I recognize it’s over, but it was all worth it. It’s an intense release and I feel it every time I find myself coming back to listen over the years.

Damn, i remember being in 6th grade (around the time this song came out) and i was doing math homework and i had just started crying. Wishing that my life was this song, i guess, idrk. But i still kinda feel the same feelings i did that day, dispite things being better now.

This kind music is transcendent. That's what makes it so special and heartwarming enjoy it. Luckily, there are only a few number people that can truly appreciate it. We are known as sheeps ;)
