Beverly Biology Sir, I have a samsung note pro 12.2inches. I used to write notes with voice recording in it. I want to change it into suitable video format so that I can upload and share my thoughts and help the community. If you kindly help me in this regard it will be very highly appreciated. Thank you for your video also. Waiting for your reply urgently.
This made everything so clear... most professors/teachers will teach this over a span of two lectures which causes information to be jumbled up due to the many similarities between them. Having them presented like this is so much more clear and intuitive!
You are a lifesaver . You taught the meiosis, mitosis portion so easily that made me understand all the stages in a simple manner. You covered one of the most confusing part of genetics in a very simply and lucid way to me. Thank you.
OMG!!! Lifesaver alert!! Thank you so much. This really happened me understand the differences between mitosis and meiosis. I now understand the differences, took about like "80 years". You was very detailed.
I didn’t know what I didn’t know until I watched this video! Thank you so much. When I learned this in class, every diagram showed four tetrads for Meiosis and four sister chromatid pairs for Mitosis and I think that is what my problem was. Thanks again!
That was a really great video ^_^ so grateful that there are people like you out there who bother to put in the time to explain and make a decent video on this.
+BeautifulScented CatRoams Thank you for the compliment. I started my channel only thinking my students would use it to review whenever they were absent from school. I'm still amazed that so many folks around the world are finding these helpful. Thanks for watching and thanks for the compliment.
I just wasted 15 minutes of my life watching a video about mitosis and meiosis and it made no sense... Then I watched this and it suddenly made so much sense. Great video mate!
There are SO MANY explanations of mitosis and meiosis that do not distinguish between chromosomes and chromatids and just call chromatids chromosomes and it makes absolutely no sense. Using the correct terminology made this simple like it’s supposed to be. Thank you
This is SUCH an awesome video! It’s simple, I wasn’t bombarded with a lot of info to process, you kept it simple and easy to follow! I’m a visual learner and so the comparison was exactly what I needed! Also, thank you for not speaking fast! Speaking fast, lots of info to process and no visuals just leaves me feeling overwhelmed. Bless you 🙏🏽
I'm homeschooled and sometimes I need a little help understanding things better since it's just me and my textbook. This helped me soooo much! Thank you!!:)
This topic was going over my head ....the other you tube videos didn't help either Thank you for making this video!!! I finally understood this theory 😊
This is the absolute BEST of all the videos that I've watched on mitosis vs meiosis (and I've watched many of them). Thank you so much for the clarity, excellent drawings and explanations.
I just wanted to say thank you so much! I'm taking an honors biology class and this is a great study tool for going over some of the chapters while studying for midterms. If you're like me and end up cramming, you can watch these videos the night before and higher the speed if you're short on time.
Thanks! I just took a practice quiz on this and nailed it thanks to this video. I hope you don't mind if I ask, but are you an educator like a professor/teacher, or a college student?
By far the clearest explanation of mitosis/meiosis I have ever seen! Most books or videos do not explicity state which strands are which (identical, paternal/maternal, copied, etc), leaving one very confused as to what actually transpired. Your explicit description is quite welcome. Thank you!
Thanks so much for making this an easy ride, Prof. I have been struggling with understanding this for about 3 weeks now, and unfortunately no one has been able to understand my questions enough to explain the concepts to me. You are very much appreciated.
I love your videos....so clearly and thoroughly explained. I have watched several and you have a unique way of teaching and the easiest to understand such a complex topic. Thank you for sharing. I wish I had you for my teacher.
This is the best and easiest to understand video on mitosis and meiosis, I've come across. Thank you so much for the time you spent. My expectation was definitely exceeded. 👍👍👍👍
Thank you so much sir....it was really easy for me to understand I usually just mix those stages here n there bt now it's so appropriate as I understood the difference... thanks to explain mitosis n meiosis in comparison...
For Gods sake ! finally a video that is easy to understand !! every detail I did not understand in the book and most videos on youtube you explaim them easily and step by step ! god bless you !!
Couldn't understand mitosis and meiosis for years. This video helped so much. Best explanation I have seen thus far (and I'm in college). Thanks so much!
Good video! You go a lot more into depth with all the stages than any other video I've watched or even my class lectures. Especially with all the little details and steps of Meiosis. Thank you!
Thank you for taking time to really explain the details . I was so confused about Meiosis and Mitosis. This is all I need.I will keep watching your contents.
After going through miles and miles of research. Finally I am here. The word 'explanation' has finally reached its true definition. Thank you so much!!
I am 32 and going back to school to take a biology course as a pre req. for the LPN course. I am very nervous and have been studying from my text book for weeks but just wasn't understanding. I am a very visual person. I thought of coming onto youtube to see if there were any videos that would help. Yours was the most attractive and got my attention right away. I have learned so much just on 4 videos. 10 hours of reading and still not understanding condensed into 2 hours of video with a full understanding. Thank you so much and I can't wait to continue watching the rest of your videos to coincide with my book learning.
+Iggi Carter I'm honored that you found my videos helpful. I'm still blown away by the fact that folks all over the Earth at various age ranges are using these videos. I started this channel as a way to help my high school students review or makeup class notes if there were absent. I had no idea that so many folks would find them helpful. Thanks for the positive comments. Best wishes to you.
thank you so much for this. my professor missed 2 days before our test and I had no clue what was going on. the book didnt help much either. this wrapped it up nicely and made perfect since. this with the previous notes I have are gonna help a lot. thank you!
After watching several videos even known ones that I will not mention and reading up on mitosis and meiosis I truly understand your version best. Thank you.
Hi im 30 years old and am back in college doing some upgrading b4 stumbling across your channel I felt like I was trying to learn a new language thank you for these visual aids you made this fun and easy to learn these video are helping me build a better life for my family so thank you from the bottom of my heart keep up the great work
Thank you so much! During class I couldn't really understand what each cell would look like during each stage and I honestly didn't know why mitosis created 2 diploid cells while meiosis created 4 haploid cells. This visual helped me out a lot!
Thanks so much! I've watched MANY videos about Mitosis and Meiosis- many that were 'flashier' ect but NONE that explained it as well as YOU did!! This definitely will help me on my exam in 2 days!! Thanks again!!
This is just what I needed! I could not resolve my confusion about these processes--especially meiosis--and you have cleared it up beautifully. Thank you!!
