MITSIBUSHI OUTLANDER 2 4LTR PETROL AWD INTERMITTENT NON START  

Hi and welcome to the channel here we have a Mitsubishi outlander 2.4ltr MIVEC cu5w model code all wheel drive variant we have seen this old girl plenty of times over the years and the first time we seen it what we found was the contents of the old rusted to death old fuel filler neck inside the tank the guy that fitted the new neck didn't even bother flushing the tank or lines it was also full of water and what would happen is it would start and run on petrol switch over to gas as it should as this is the duel fuel vehicle fitted at the factory bye the colt car company in Cirencester but if you switched the old girl off it wouldn't start again until the next day so I was asked if I could look at it as I was an active Mitsubishi master technician still working in the main dealer at the time I said sure I've never even worked on one of these vehicles in this model so why not be interesting so it got brought to my home I had a look around it and asked the question when and who fitted the shiny new fuel filler neck and did they flush the tank and before I had my answer from the customer who was chasing up the previous mechanic I already found the problem the tank was full of water and rust and when the customer called back to say they did not flush the tank i informed him i was in the process of flushing the what can only be called iron brew that was the colour of the fuel so after flushing and cleaning and i replaced the pump only for a Walbro unit 4 years ago and now its back again with a similar issue so lets see what's going on this time and if you like the video please subscribe for free and have a great day
