This!! The other day I was looking for videos if there's any of her talking about The Deal as it was my most favorite track in the album but sadly i found out there still isn't any. i am still waiting for the story behind it because the melody and imagery is just so beautiful. I replayed it so much over the last 2 months and it became my top 2 song in Spotify this year. Probably would have been top 1 if it had only been released earlier. Others are going crazy about My Love Mine All Mine (which is understandable as it is also a good song) but I think The Deal is an overlooked masterpiece.

amazing music... nothing in modern music can compare to the things mitski writes. i'm glad she gets the recognition she desrves. The only thing i wish could happen is for her to feel all the immense love people have her, including myself. it feels great listening to her music growing up cause i feel like she is growing up with me.

It’s videos like this that remind me how I’ll never be able to do music lol I love it from the sidelines and I sing like crazy but I never just sit down and ponder how I’ll never *do* music. This is *doing* music and I get to reap the chemical brain hits from whatever she’s doing. It’s beautiful, I love her music, I guess it’s just a little sad for me in that sense.
