I just installed the same radio in my stealth a few weeks ago. Definately seems to be a good fit. Although the clock does seem a bit buggy, not keeping track of time passing when the car is off. Also its either under system settings or display settings, that the boot logo can be changed, and there is a pre loaded mitsubishi logo, and you could probably add a logo through usb

I got a new double din radio for the Evo during Black Friday to replace the double din I got last year that I HATE! Your install went super smooth it seemed. Hopefully this new radio I got fits a lot better than the one I just put in.

funny thing is, I recently got the double din console piece and have been looking at stereo options. I wanted the USB port and stuff, so this is a good option. I'm guessing the timing was fixed and the car is drivable now? I see that you are doing a timing kit install video soon, just wondering if that actually was the issue. I currently re-did the timing on mine, as it was off a tooth or so. Good luck with the car, cant wait to see more vids on it!

Just purchased the same head unit....was just curious if you were able to get the steering wheel controls to work? I never used them for the factory unit, but I love how you can have the capability to program the steering wheel controls to practically any function you want?

The connector doesnt seem to work for first gens the Harness has a different output plug than your 3g.

Hey man, check out the PAC SWI-RC to program the steering wheel buttons to work with your new radio.

RU-vid won't let me post a link but supercar engineering has a write up on the install if you google 3000 gt supercar engineering pac swi. They used the swi-x which requires more wiring but works with older radios. The RC version works better for the modern stuff.
