There's a long time 3000GT owner in the UK called Paul Wright who has put together an exact O-ring set, rather than having to purchase full generic kits and hunt for a size, look him up.

I've done this to mine but I replaced every o-ring and change the compressor oil just to be sure that it was going to work. I had a leak in a o-ring inside the radiator in the glovebox. As for now it blows coldish. Not bad for working with not recommended gas. Nice video as usual and good to see you well.

a little black tape on the swivel end will help keep it from flopping downward. Just a little trick for ya.

Hello! What was the purpose for replacing the dryer? Is the one from the 1g cars not compatible with 134a? Did you get a newer dryer from a later model 3000gt?

Afraid I can't be much help with either question. I buy aftermarket driers from autozone. Just tell them the car model. I bought lots of different adapters from different suppliers until I found the right combination. You will find them for sale on my forum if you can't source them locally.

My channel is for restoration. I never do modify, adapt, delete or alter videos. You would need to try one of the forums. I don't really see the point of buying a rare classic car and then trying to change it.

Afraid I don't do hacks so I can't answer the question. Why not just buy a replacement and fit it?
