Hi mate I have the same tractor currently having a problem with the hydraulics not working, they only work if the revs are right up and there is nothing on the rear linked. There is no leaks and I have changed the oil and filter my next thought is it the pump do you have any suggestions before I go out and buy a new pump kind regards Chris 👍🏼
Hi Chris I'm not a mechanic but your hydraulic screen and/or filter is probably clogged. Most people don't realize that there is a screen for the hydraulics.
I met a retired mechanic who said the exact same thing that Tough Tractor just said. The filter lies beneath a square cover held on with four bolts on the right side of the machine. I own a D1650fd and have no regrets.
