I´ll bought mine last week (Dec. 12, 2023) ... but delivery is first or second week next year. Can´t wait to drive it! And I am already sure I am going to love it. Saw so many videos about it´s features and what it is capable of. So, as said, can´t wait to drive it. Greeting from Southern Germany.

The ride quality is amazing. We have put nearly 50K miles on it and love how smooth the ride is both on and off pavement. The suspension/shock valving is soft but gets progressively firm the more the springs compress. Typical dirt/gravel roads (even with washboarding) are very well absorbed and not jarring at all. Even with the soft ride, it does not exhibit body roll any more than any other compact SUV that I have driven in turns. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

It's All Wheel Drive but the bias is towards the front wheel. The computer directs the power to the rear after it starts spinning.

The worst tank average was 23 miles per gallon. The best tank has been 28 mpg on a trip but I usually drive it HARD - never put it in ecomode. 🤣

@@sourovajmain2048 Not bad at all. In comparison, Our Jeep Grand Cherokee averaged 14 to 18. We've had it 2 years and love it.

Don't know why Mitsu can't make their engines better... The 2016 CRV has 180 HP and burns 8.6 Liters combined while this 2023 eclipse cross has 160 HP and burns 9.3L...

@@crappyslippers6917 When it comes to fuel economy there is a lot that comes into play. The CRV's increased engine displacement would be detrimental in city driving where you are often sitting at stop lights. Since all engines have to run at stoichiometric fuel/air mixtures the Mitsubishi's 1.5L engine would be much better than the CRV. At faster speeds acceleration, aerodynamics, terrain, speed, temperature and vehicle load play a bigger part in fuel economy. As stated on the EPA mileage ratings, your actual results will vary. I.E. my afternoon commute varies between 24 and 36 (behind a slow truck) mpg depending on all of those factors. My morning commute is between 22 and 26 on the same route. Mixed city and highway.

Oh yeah. The AWD system is great. In different modes it favors the front or rear. I probably should have put it in snow mode or left it in automatic.

Also, my wife didn't know to give it more gas if the vehicle starts slowing down.

@@jpch8814 That is a good test. One thing I noticed that sometimes he turned the steering wheel into the hill sometimes he didn't that may explain some of the inconsistencies. As far as the overheating, I'm thinking the nannies are just making sure you won't have a warranty claim since it has a 100,000 powertrain warranty. :)

I can not confirm or deny, 😁 but i think someone felt some relief - possibly from getting unstuck.
