I have been looking for a convertible top boot for my #2GEclipseConvertible for a while! The hardware when top is down is a real eye sore. I have not found any companies that make a aftermarket one. So I decided to see if I could fit a 3G Eclipse convertible boot on my car. Not a lot of information out there so I decided to roll the dice to see if it fits...

The boot doesnt fly off when driving does it? Also since you have a spyder does your passenger side have a drain tube on the weather stripping above the windshield? My drivers side has a drain tube but passenger side is just a hole.

No the boot doesn't fly off. You just need to make sure all edges are tucked right. I took a 2 hr ride on parkway doing 70mph and I made no problems. Of course I was paranoid the whole time since it was first time. And I have to check on the drain plug for you tomorrow.

I plan on doing a awd swap with bigger turbo. Possibly try going for the convertible dsm 1/4 record.
