@@Tuffers-1875 heya, yes the immersion should be left on but only if it's wired into the FTC panel where the ecodan unit controls the immersion usage for legionnaires cycle etc. if the immersion switch is direct then this could be the reasoning for your high energy usage. Best to get a reputable contractor in for a service and whilst there ask all the questions you have to get them answered. The internet can most of the time be very misleading.

And I have already set it to display room & tank. But the tank temp never shows on the main controller screen. Just the room

Hi Matthew, go to initial settings, scroll down to temp display, change the setting from " ROOM " To room + Tank " - Exit the main menu and you should see the square with the bubbles top right with the temperature

Hi Mel, where do you keep the room thermostat? only reason this would rise is if the stat is recognising a change in room temperature.

Its more complicated with multiple stats, need to make sure the stat you are trying to repair goes to the correct zone, i.e zone 1 stat to room rc1, stat 2 to room rc2 ... some installers will write in pen on the back of the stat which one is which, however some will let you guess

your stat is locked ? or your main rc, if you are relating to the main rc, i.e main controller .. press and hold the tick button and return button until the padlock at the top of the screen disappears.

Thank you so much, yes I did mean the main rc, something so simple yet impossible to find on google! I have gone through your step by step guide and now the wireless thermostat is set up and working, thank you! Only problem is the temperature on the main rc isn’t corresponding with the wireless thermostat?

Just push it up and it will click, then pull towards you
