Hi, I would be grateful of you could tell me how to increase P1 to over the default 120. I have tried and it cant go over 120, but on my washing machine motor before I reset the values, P1 it was 180 and I cant go over 120 now for some reason. Thanks
Hi! Nice video! I am usign a D700 too! I am reading and writing parameters from and to the VFD using RS-485 and the modbus RTU protocol, but I didn't understand how to run and stop the VFD with that protocol! I know that it has to do with Modbus registers 40009 and 40010, but I couldn't understand the values I have to set. In fact, you can check that on page 208 in the Advanced Manual you attached to this video. Any cue ? Thanks
Hi Andrey. Thank you for your comment. I have not worked much with RTU Protocol yet, so be not much help to you. I am planning to get in to it in near future, but not yet. Sorry.
I have a problem where the run signal is received but the "RUN" light just flickers. I need this working for Monday morning and this is Friday evening...Help!!!
The signal is from a Click plc and was wired up by a sub contractor who gave me the parameter list to alter, but won't come and help. The three phase ones are fine, but this is first single phase and won't work.
@@paulround1784 single phase and 3 phase, the same. Did you check your frequency. It is not running cos frequency source is not present. How are you controlling your frequency, or speed.
'P5 alarm' not trigger to relay A C (normally open) inverter. Just display showing P5. How to setting if P5 alarm was trigger & relay A C (normally open) inverter will turn to normally closed.
I need help with old mitsubishi D700, the machine was working properly then suddenly stopped, written please download a project or press enter to access system menu on the screen
Hello. I have an FR-D720. The inverter is powered by the network through a contactor. I want, after the contactor is actuated, to automatically start the motor at the already set frequency. I don't want to use the panel buttons or the terminal block to start. Can you tell me how to set it up?
Thanks for the video. I have a d700 bypassed right now because of a e.safe fault. The thing is I’m not using an external safety relay unit. S1, S2 and Sc are shorted . The fault will not clear. Would that mean the IGBT is possibly bad?
@@IGSElectronics I have restarted it a few times and the fault comes in as it powers up. It’s on a blower motor and there isn’t much attached to it. Just came across it today. The only thing going to the terminals are, speed signal , forward rotation, and using the relay output. Wasn’t really able to go through much on it but will try to get back on it tomorrow. It’s like it’s stuck in safe mode. One manual said to make sure S1, S2 and Sc values are the same, but they are jumped. Thanks for responding! Only code I saw was e.saf
@@IGSElectronics when I first came across it , I had a few other things I needed to take care of and didn’t dive into it much. I was able to go back today. There was another board that controls a contactor that feeds power to the drive. It was cycling in and out causing the drive to fault. Once the power was dropped from the drive I couldn’t cycle through anything as the power dissipated. Anyway once the controls were straightened out , everything seems good now. Thanks for getting back to help!
Sir, for d720s , I want to give the 4-20mA analog input, which parameters I should change, I selected pr.180 to pr.182 as 4, 267 as 0, 79 as 2, is anything need to change. When I start externally it's running in lowest hz which is settled in pr.2,
Hi. I have a body strong finess whith a D700 and whith The fault code UV or Uu. And I cant get it away. Do you think you can help me? Everything start up and work but not det motor for The walking carpet. Plz help
Hi There. You seam to be having a supply voltage problems. This error stands for under voltage. Check you supply to the drive with voltmeter, if all ok then your drive needs replacing.
@@IGSElectronics Hi. The one I have is fr-d720s-1.5k-cht I have checked with a multimeter and I have 230 inverters and when I measure the outgoing cables to the motor I have about 0.05. So then you think I need to buy a new one? Or can you succeed in repairing the old one
Please I have a challenge with my drive... After installing I running the motor. I noticed the that the motor start shocking... I can't touch the motor without feeling an electric shock... Please how hat can be the cause of this
Hello Daniel. If you are getting electric shock from the motor, it means there is a voltage leak inside the motor and you should not use it. It means winding has come of its coating and is in need of rewind or new motor.
Hi there its Motor overload trip. Remove output wires from the drive and start the drive without motor connected, if all well and error no longer appears, your motor is having difficulty working. If error don't go away, your drive might be faulty.
Hi, im using this controller also. Its used in an area which has a lot power outages. Is there a way to set the unit so it starts up again when power is resumed? At the moment i have to manually restart, thanks.
Not that I know of bud, best would be to set up a relay that automatically go on on power and send pulse to start the drive. That how i would tackle the problem.
Cable length is part of electrical wiring understanding. The longer the cable the longer the more resistance, taking these parameters in to the account appropriate cable must be calculated to accommodate the necessary current transfer for particular distance.
