+Bob Outélama Exactly, I have yet to see any of those newer galants in real life, people simply stopped buying them. Looked like some cheap version of a carolla
Nice to see all the models Galant again, I had a Galant 1982 1.6 GL ...Galant 1987 1.6 GL and now a galant 2002 2.0 GLSI Drive ... pity galant is no longer available in the Netherlands since 2003 ....and also The Saporro was a nice car :-)
At 1.08 the green Galant 'Rally' is my old hillclimb car! It's a 1981 galant 2000 GLS with a supercharged Rover V8 engine installed. I sold it as a half finished spaceframe build which doesn't look like it'll be finished by its current owner so it's up for sale again. Just thought i'd share
Who is still with me Oct 2020 pandemic? I still have this V6, 7th Gen Mitsu Galant 2.0 24 V A/T " sleeper" and still can out run new model cars in the Hi-ways.
I had a '96 Galant S and I loved that car.It had the 2.6 I4 with a 5 spd got 30mpg on hwy and would run an honest 140mph top end.Never could figure how they got that kinda power out of a non-turbo 4 banger, but it was a blast to drive.
nice work with the collection of pictures..i have had 5 galants different years starting since 1996 and love each one of them. reliable motors easy to fix and better than Toyota or Nissan. thanks
No hardtops included, they are the best looking of all Galants. 1970 Galant GS hardtop, 1975 Galant GSII hardtop, 1972-77 Galant GTO hardtop, 1978 Galant GSR hardtop.
I really like the Galant Series, but I hate the fact that after the fourth generation Mitsubishi decided to make them FWD, like what the hell they were thinking.
