Treeezplz The one used in the video is not the SST, it's a sequential tranny rated for competition applications.

Natural Powerlifter The 5 speed is geared higher so there will be more torque to the wheels, and you shift one less time doing 0-60 mph. It can also handle more power coming from the engine before breaking than the SST can, so it has a higher tolerance for upgrades and tunes. If you are planning to go to the track, the SST is known to overheat. Only downside is it has higher fuel consumption.

it's strictly to soften the blow, SST doesn know "be gentle" so they downshift manually to safe the transmission from exploding.

some sequential transmissions require the clutch use on downshifts , its also easier on them .

cause it is build as a time attack car, this track doesnt suit those gear ratios because of the longer straights and fast sweepers, time attack tracks are mostly pretty short with lots of tight corners, where there is no use for long gears and high straightline speed . grtz

Erkmen Akin its a sequential gearbox, you’ll still need a clutch moving off first. 2. Clutch downshifting is easier on the box and you can blip to ease it into the lower gear

sorry if my question is going to sound stupid....i can see him giving gas with the right leg and brake with the right leg. is the car setup so that when he gives clutch with the left foot it blips the throttle by itself? or his he heel an toeing?

With a sequential you have to use the clutch to start driving he doesnt use his clutch for shifting up he uses a clutch-kicking System to shift down
