This was literally the best performance bargain of the early 2000s. This car fully loaded was like 24k had the dct out of the Evo Mr the evo 9 drive train and a slightly smaller turbo than the Evo. Same 4b11t
I have a Lancer, totally agree that the driving position isn't great for tall people like us. 6"4' and all my mods start with the driving position. Gonna get a racing seat which should make me sit lower. Wheel needs to be smaller. Shorten the steering rack ratio and it should be good.
The center diff is the same as in the evo (acd is named). The only difference between ralliarts and evos, is the rear diff. Evo have a open one but with yaw control, and ralliart use a mechanical lsd.
I have a ralliart and yes it’s fast for 0-180km/h but no more, am look for td05 turbo to, but stock td04 have more torque. I mine 253lbs of torque for 237hp.
The top speed kinda surprises me as my 116hp Lancer Sportback (Diesel) does between 210 and 220km/h as well (you need some space, but it can actually reach those speeds)
the 1.5 109hp is around 216 km/h on autobanh (204 on gps). Very tall gear so any help (slipstream/downhill) help to get there and beyond. Still not in redline.
Irl its not that bad. I own one of these. The worse clicking noise is hearing the gear lockout every time you put your foot on the brake. Other than that they dont make much noise
Very good quality of video 🎥 Thanks for it!!! You said, that there will be bigger turbo? I suppose, it will be td05 there?) Waiting for it!!! When it's planned?)
I love my Ralliart. Test drove absolutely everything else, even Evo's and STi's, but settled on the Ralliart. A great project car if you have the budget to upgrade the transmission, and it's a sleeper. Everyone thinks it's a FWD econo box and then I blow their doors off
but turbo can easily go up from 240 hp.... S2000 is bound to 240hp more or less (let aside the huge difference in torque and the useful power band of the engine) . That's the life on tuning NA cars...
@@Saif0412 talking out my ass but maybe it's just behind the steering wheel so he doesn't see it when he's driving normally lol, I could never see the top of the tach in my last car so i could see it happening
In UK they are a bargain, sadly they never came to Italy.. on autoscout I found 3 of them in Germany but with over 140k km, anyone knows some German websites to search them?
Bought 2nd hand Lancer EX GT-A. It's fun to drive and the suspensions are great even with only factory suspension. The shifting is smooth so better take care of your F1CJA TRANSMISSION
@@55Berg nahhh big difference the evos body is wider, bigger turbo, complete different suspension and brake system, shorter turning radius. Can't compare the handling of an evo to the ralliart. Ralliart is a lancer with some goodies of an evo x
Why spend $20,000 plus to mod a Rallart into simply looking like an EVO? Yet you get none of the power, handling, steering, chassis balance, brakes trick differentials, LSD, ACD, Active Yaw etc that make an EVO so special. Only reason you put that BBK on is for the look. And trust me no one turns their head when you drive by . You wasted all that money for nothing
@@Tox1k20 once you discuss all the bolt-ons, and turbo, new diffs, BBK, tires, all aesthetic add-ons, front bumper, side skirts rear diffuser, paint etc etc, plus labor then yes it can easily reach 15-20K. Because if you go to let's say USP Motorsports which is right by my house, they charge $120 per hour. And let's assume most people can't do this type of work on their own so we're talking parts and labor. And yes it can easily reach 20K
Me too , i hate these lancers , plus noncar guys things this is evo , but between ralliart and evo is big differenc , its like bmw m340i and m3 ..... Not Evo !
@@georgewest7406 actually no. No big difference. It got the evo 10 engine, evo 10 gearbox and evo 9 awd. The only semnificative difference that you can't "upgrade" on the ralliart is the rear suspension. The RA one is more heavy duty oriented and the evo one is more complex and dynamic. The brakes also. But the brakes can be cheaply upgraded so it doesnt really matter.
